Pompeii, Amalfi Coast and Sorrento Peninsula Tour

We truly enjoyed this full day excursion even if it was short as the travel time was lenghtly. Our guide on that day was great and made sure that we are together even if it was such a big group. People stick with the timeline so it was timely in transitioning to the next area.

Amazing tour and very knowledgeable tour guides, Alessandro has many stories to tell which is fun. Great experience as well to see the ruins of Pompeii and listen to history as told by Dimytrio (sorry if I spell the name wrong). Sorrento is a beautiful place and an absolute joy to wander around. Over all an exceptional tour.

I booked this tour with my family of 5 and it was so amazing! We had Flavio as our tour guide and Luca as the driver! So convenient as a traveller, we only had roughly 4 days in Rome so wanted to maximise the time by visiting another place but booking this all would have been a headache so this tour was great. I personally would have preferred more time in Sorrento (it was so beautiful and we only had 1.5hrs rather than 2hrs advertised- 2hrs still wouldn't be enough it was so beautiful) and less in Pompeii. I recommend booking directly through Citywonders website :-)

We visited the Sorrento and Pompeii ruins. The tour guide (don't remember her name) was knowledgeable and the trip was worth going. There was another guide (Claudia) assigned in the Pompeii ruins and it was a very enlightening tour. This made me realise the past Italy was also ahead of its time as explained by Claudia. Do visit from Rome if separate plan is not there for these locations.

This tour offers excellent value for money! You can easily travel by bus from Piazza del Popolo to Pompeii, with a comfortable break in between. Our tour guide (Antonino) continuously shared fascinating information about the sights we visited (and even gave us recommendations for delicious restaurants on the way back!). I was initially worried that two hours wouldn't be enough time to see Pompeii, given its size, but having a guide made it very efficient, and it turned out to be perfect. The tour I joined primarily focused on Pompeii, the Amalfi Coast, and Sorrento. However, when they mentioned the "Amalfi Coast," it seemed to be more about the area around the coast, or perhaps specifically the coast near Sorrento. If you're hoping to visit "the most beautiful coast in the world," I recommend choosing a tour that includes "Positano." The restrooms during our break were relatively clean, and for lunch, they asked us in advance how many pizzas or if we wanted pasta, and then quickly served it after we finished exploring Pompeii (though we only had about 30 minutes for lunch!). The price for lunch also seemed quite reasonable. On my tour, they even gave us a lemon soap as a gift! At the meeting point, everyone was wearing blue and holding City Wonders flags, making it easy to find our group, and they clearly communicated the meeting times throughout the day. Just a heads-up, there are no charging outlets on the bus, so a portable charger is a must. When I participated, we met around 7 AM and were back by approximately 8 PM. I highly recommend this tour; it's definitely more comfortable and enjoyable than going on your own!

The tour was really worth it. Pompeii is such a cultural and historical gem. Sorrento and Amalfi Coast are a treasure. Heather, our guide, is full of energy and really took care of us. Our driver is also awesome.

Absolutely amazing tour. Our Guide Laura and drive Ginai were so good at keeping us safe and on time. Despite the fact it was a rainy day it was so good to see Pompei without the crowds. Our tour guide Elena took us to all the highlights and her explanation was fantastic. would really recommend this tour!

We had a wonderful tour with Flavio and Enricho. I found the itinerary great, not too packed and not too little. The Pompeii tour was awesome! We came at a very non busy time (Winter) and luckily it was not raining. We had an awesome time at Sorrento with the recommendations from Flavio and the limoncello factory. We were given plenty of time to take photos and shop and even had bathroom breaks at a rest stop.

We absolutely loved Heather! She's a very responsible, lovely, energetic, and friendly guide who made our trip very enjoyable and full of wonderful memories. We highly recommend this Pompeii tour, and if you get Heather, you're very lucky!

Easy and hassle free booking through KLOOK. Just be at the meeting point before the scheduled time. The trip is very interesting and worthy even though it is a long ways on the bus. But, we enjoyed walking through the amazing Pompeii archeological site and later enjoyed nice view of the city of Sorento.
