at 1st, I'm very worry while book thrus this klook as need to join the local tour on this trip. After booked, the tour guide, Ms Grace do Whatsapp to introduce herself, then asking me the hotel location so that she can guide me how to go to meeting point. She was very nice tour guide, do do lot of explanation about "Tai O" , Big Buddha.... the most impressed part was she will use lot of her Body Language to make us won't felt bored & easier to understand on her explanation.... Great experience with friendly and knowledgeable tour guide, the tour guide gave detailed whatapp instructions one night before and had no problem meeting up with the group. Tried both transportation, took the bus up to the fishing village and glass bottom cable car down from the temple, highly recommended.
When you spent your tour in the busy streets of HK, going to Lantau Island and Tai O Village is definitely a break you need from the hustle and bustle of the city. Cool and fresh air with the view of the mountains and waters. Our tour guide, Eva Charm, was one of the highlights of the tour. Grace was amazing! She was very insightful and gave an extensive tour around Lantau Island. I especially loved the trip to the Big Buddha.
The tour guide was nice and worked hard. She contacted us one day before the trip and reminded us what to prepare and where to pick up. The Tai O village and Ngong Ping were interesting destinations, fishball, shrimp paste and seafood were delicious, we really loved them. It is a pity that the weather changed suddenly and too cold so I didnt have a perfect trip and good photos. Some people were late and we didnt have enough time to travel arond the village. I really want to come back here on a sunny day.
This was an amazing trip and I owe it all to my tour guide Grace. I booked last minute and my name was not on the list. Grace took care of everything immediately and we went off and running. She has such a great passion for what she does. She is very knowledgeable about the locations we went to and so humorous too. I fully enjoyed my day with her. The bud Buddha and the grounds surrounding it were so beautiful and relaxing, the boat ride was awesome too even though no dolphins showed up. the cable car down was fabulous. it you can’t stand heights this is not for you. but it is a very peaceful view and ride.
Grace, our tour guide is very nice. She is entertaining in narrating the stories behind the places we visited. She did an extra mile in making sure that we are at the correct meeting point. Even if we need to go back earlier because of an upcoming another tour, she helps us find the way back to the cable car.
Our trip to Lantau is very easy becuse of our tour guide Mr Henry! He assisted us from the start. From the start he assisted me and my family. He also got a chance to have small talk to my husband about Hong Kong and Philippines. thank ypu so much Mr Henry. Just let us know when you visit Philippines too...
