This café is a gem, nestled among the eateries along Boat Quay Conservation Area. Located in a shophouse on the 2nd floor, the entrance can be easily missed; only a black signage gives any hints as to its whereabouts. Once inside, you'll find a relaxing lounge-like ambiance, complete with comfortable sofas and coffee tables, manned by ever-friendly and helpful staff. The space is air-conditioned of course. But you came here for the cats, didn't you? Well, the cats here are simply beautiful to watch and a joy to interact with. What surprised me was that the place lacked any scent suggesting the presence of its feline occupants. The owners and staff go through great pains to look after the cats, which explains the luxuriously-soft and silky-smooth coats on every cat; the perfect remedy for the overworked among us. Let your frustrations and worries melt away when spending time with these furballs! Part of the care that goes into these felines comes from the strict rules enforced by the owners. Parents of young children may be disappointed to learn that a minimum age limit of 7+ is imposed on entrants. Other cheekier guests may have found themselves on the receiving end of warnings from staff for picking up the cats, an absolute no-no since cats in other cafés have been injured this way. If you play by the rules and treat animals with the respect they truly deserve, then I think you'll have a wonderful time here. Each visit brings a fresh new experience, since the cats' personalities are incredibly diverse. Visit often enough, and the cats might even recognise you through your interactions with them! I highly-recommend this place to people looking for a way to unwind and spend time with cats. Gather your friends (post-lockdown) or that special someone for an interesting day out in town! At $10 per hour, it's pretty good value for the experience.
very fun experience! the staff guided us on how to interact with the cats, and even gave us a chance to have the cat sit on our laps! 10/10 would visit again (if i have money to spare) (can we get a subscription/package discount please)
The staff were friendly and they will give a brief introduction about the cats. We went in the morning where there is less people and the staff interacted with us and taught us how to get closer to the cats. Went at 11am on a weekday, about half of the cats are awake.
Went there around 5pm, most of the cats are sleeping. Later, few of the cats awake, but as most of the review said , The cats are very “action” Hahahaha! Anyway, feel not very worth of paying $10 just to see the cats for 1 hour, especially when the cats are sleeping when u reach. However , it is a quite good experience .
Nice cosy cafe. Get to learn more about the cats from the cafe person in charge (oops sorry forgot his name). Can see the cats are well loved and well taken care. Enjoy ourselves!
we went at 11am and half of the cats are awake and active. we ordered hot milo which taste good. the environment is comfy with some light background music.
The cats are cute but they are sleeping when we went around 2 plus. The staff shares with us on how to pet the cats.We get to choose free drinks below $3.50
Not the first time being here, came here earlier when the cats were mostly active! Had a great time observing cats at play and really love petting them!
A cafe with great ambience, overlooking the Singapore River. The cats were all very well taken of and the staff is very friendly, helping us to get to know to the cats in the cafe. Had a great time there.
Went at around 1pm and half of the cat were asleep~ the cats were so cute and it was really chill to jus sit around and pet the cats. The drinks were nice as well i ordered iced sencha and it’s pretty refreshing. But I guess 1 hour is just nice for me and my friends :)
