Blenheim Palace, Downton Abbey Village and Cotswolds Tour

A very nice tour. Blenheim Palace is a must visit. we had around 2 hrs of time to explore. Also nice view from the garden.

Omar was really good and attentive. He was giving a lot of good information and advice for each location we went to. Drive was smooth and safe. really great value for money!

The tour guide Megan is very gentle, the driver Earl is quite humorous, the route is good but a little rushed, need more time to see the details, can go again

Our guide, Kevin, spoke Japanese well, so we were able to enjoy the tour with ease. The schedule was also quite relaxed, which was nice.

The two Chris’ (Chrissie and Christian if i got the spelling correct) were a tandem. Gotta give credit for them for waiting for us when we made them wait for over 5mins, sorry about that guys. But the rest of the trip was a breeze. Loved the mini trivias along the way.

Based on the title, I thought we were going to the Downton Abbey filming location, but it turned out to be Brampton village, another filming site. The village is tiny; you can walk through it in a few minutes. As for the so-called Cotswolds region, we only visited one small town (Stow-on-the-Wold). The town is already overdeveloped, swarming with tourists, and there's nothing much to see. The worst part is that there's only one public restroom with three stalls, which are unisex. You also have to pay to use them, and two of them are coin-operated, with only one accepting credit cards. Most tourists don't carry coins, and there's no change provided. Consequently, everyone lined up for the credit card-enabled stall, and with so many people, it was never cleaned and was extremely unsanitary. You really shouldn't visit towns like this; they're nothing like the charming villages one imagines. It was truly a rip-off.

The birthplace of former British Prime Minister Winston Churchill, and the place where he proposed to his wife, this vast Baroque palace is a private residence showcasing countless precious oil paintings and exquisite sculptures, offering a profound glimpse into the luxury of aristocratic life. The Cotswolds boast a rich medieval charm with their stone cottages.

The tour guide was great. Except for the traffic jam on the way back, the whole trip was relaxing, and there was plenty of time for sightseeing.

Lovely tour guide Megan, who knows her stuff well! and driver was also able to cruise through the narrow roads. From Downtown Abbey village, we saw the film sets before our eyes. Duration at Cotswolds could be longer, it was a very lovely place to explore. Blenheim Palace was a surprise, very well maintained. A pity that the Christmas decoration is on, hence couldn't focus on the artefacts and sculpture well due to lighting effects. Will certainly recommend this trip nonetheless!
