Red Fort

Jama Masjid

Akshardham

The modern Hindu Temple that holds the Guinness World record for the world’s largest comprehensive Hindu Temple, the Akshardham temple complex is a must visit in Delhi. Built in 2005, the landmark was designed by over 11,000 artisans, following a Hindu style of architecture and the principles of vaastu shastra and pancharatra shastra. Visitors can explore the scenic green lawns and courtyards, waterfronts, and various exhibition halls housed in the beautiful pink sandstone and marble building.

Baha'i Lotus Temple

Built to welcome people from all world religions and faith, The Baha’i Lotus Temple is one of the top tourist attractions of Delhi you shouldn’t miss out on! Following the Bahai religion’s core value of uniting all races and people in a universal cause, the temple welcomes visitors, regardless of gender, to chant their personal religious mantras. The landmark is famously known for its modern lotus-shaped architectural design, consisting of 27 free-standing marble petals.

Rashtrapati Bhavan

Laxmi Narayan Mandir

Also known as the Birla Mandir, the Laxmi Narayan Temple is considered to be one of Delhi’s major Hindu temples. The landmark was the first large Hindu temple to be built in Delhi and was inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi, with the condition that it must welcome visitors of all castes into the temple. The temple is mainly dedicated to Preserver in the Trimurti, Narayan or Vishnu, and his consort the goddess of prosperity, Laxmi, but also includes side temples to honor Shiva, Krishna, and Buddha.

Lodhi Garden
