    With 2023 just around the corner, it’s time to take stock of the year we’ve had. Most of us have spent the better half of the past two years dreaming of our next getaway - while some of us have fully regretted not travelling more before the pandemic - ourselves included.
    Thankfully, 2022 has seen borders fully reopening and travel resuming. Come 2023, it’s the perfect time to start planning your long-awaited holiday to places we’ve always wanted to visit, and maybe revisit - now that we’re finally able to.
    Whether it's everyone’s favourite Japan, shopping paradise Thailand, or even further flung destinations like Austria and Turkey, here are 20 gorgeous destinations and places within them that you should most definitely consider travelling to in 2023!

    1. Japan: Land of the Rising Sun

There are plenty of reasons to travel to Japan, from the delicious cuisine and beautiful temples to the exciting things to do.
    Whether you’re keen to visit Tokyo, Osaka, or Kyushu, check out the ancient shrines and temples of Nara, or go cherry blossom hunting during the famous Sakura season, you’ll never run out of things to do here.     With its proximity to Singapore, it's oh-so-easy to plan impromptu trips to one of our favourite neighbouring countries. Malaysia is conveniently accessible via car thanks to the causeway and/or short flights is affordable and offers up easy getaway options for us. 
    From quick day trips to Johor Bahru for shopping, supper and massages, to weekend getaways at Melaka, Kuala Lumpur, and even chilly holidays at Cameron and Genting Highlands - we definitely love our vacations in Malaysia!
