Best Bangkok Hotels Near BTS Stations for Your Next Thailand Holiday
It’s no secret that Bangkok is one of the most well-loved tourist hotspots: between the great food, cheap shopping, and close proximity to Singapore… really, what’s not to like?
However, let’s face it, after a long day of activity, having an oasis away from the chaos sounds like a pretty good idea. Reset and recharge at any of these 25 best Bangkok hotels that, even better, are located near BTS stations for the ultimate convenience.
Siam Station
The Siam area is the pulsating heart of Bangkok, filled with gigantic malls, department stores, and attractions. Go all out with the likes of Siam Paragon, Siam Square, MBK Mall, and Siam Discovery; or check out attractions like Sea Life Bangkok Ocean World, Madame Tussauds, and LINE Village.
1. Novotel Bangkok on Siam Square
Walking duration from Siam BTS station: 2 minutes
Be right in the heart of all the action when you stay at Novotel Bangkok on Siam Square. A mere two-minute walk from Siam BTS station, you’ll literally be surrounded by shopping malls and cafés galore! If you’re feeling active even after you get back to the hotel, hit the gym (which also hosts a range of fitness classes) to burn off some calories, before taking a languid dip in the pool. Or, how about sweating it out further in the sauna?
Parents, here’s looking at you: go ahead and take some me-time courtesy of Novotel Bangkok’s babysitting services. The hotel is delightfully child-friendly too, with a kid’s club and wading pool.
#KlookTip: Travelling as a family? Accommodation and breakfast are free for two children under the age of 16 (when they share a room with their parents).
2. Chatrium Grand Bangkok
Walking duration from Siam BTS station: 8 minutes
Just look at that pool! Escape from Bangkok’s sticky heat — which, let’s face it, can be a little much at times — with a refreshing lap or two whenever you return to Chatrium Grand Bangkok after a long day out. Wellness is one of the hotel’s top priorities, with a spa that offers massages, oxygen treatments, detox sessions, and salt therapy. There’s also a state-of-the-art fitness centre, which houses pretty much all the fitness equipment you can think of.
Chatrium Grand Bangkok is the seamless marriage of old and new: the two modern red towers are adorned with Thai motifs, with even a pagoda standing sentinel at one end of the pool. That’s not all: the hotel also has female-only floors, and an innovative Aiello Voice-AI assistant to cater to your every need.
#KlookTip: Save all your energy for the malls! Hop onto the free shuttle service to Siam Paragon and CentralWorld.
3. Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok
Walking duration from Siam BTS station: 6 minutes
Now, this is what we call luxury! Pamper yourself at Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok, which is as grand on the inside as it is on the outside. The lobby wows at first glance, framed by towering pillars and shining marble floors. Venture outside and marvel at the (four!) giant saltwater swimming pools, which are surrounded by lush foliage. If you can’t get enough, book a stay in one of the rooms that have direct pool access.
The hotel wins with convenience too: it’s located directly next to Siam Paragon, and is connected to the mall via a sheltered walkway. For further pampering, there’s even a free shuttle service.
#KlookTip: If you have little ones in tow, they’ll love the Kempinski Kids Club — which welcomes kids between the ages of three and 12.
4. Centara Grand
Walking duration from Siam BTS station: 9 minutes
Nestled right on top of the mega CentralWorld shopping and entertainment complex, Centara Grand is the perfect location for shopaholics. Families will be delighted to know that the hotel has room types specially for larger groups, with interconnecting rooms available upon request too. All the rooms come with splendid cityscapes; for an even better view, head up to the RedSky rooftop bar for 360-degree panoramic views.
#KlookTip: What say you to playing tennis with a view? Lace up your shoes, and book a session at the sky-high tennis courts.
This might sound like a #firstworldproblem, but shopping and eating can take a toll on one’s body — loosen up all those knots with an in-room massage. Otherwise, get a good stretch with a yoga or pilates class held at the gym.
5. Prathumwan Princess Hotel
Walking duration from Siam BTS station: 11 minutes
Pathumwan Princess Hotel channels old-school elegance, with the cherry on top being its direct connection with the MBK shopping centre. When the world came to a screeching standstill during the COVID-19 pandemic, the hotel made good use of this downtime to undergo a major renovation. The result? Spacious and modern rooms, decked out with all the creature comforts you need for a comfortable stay.
The star of the show here is, without a doubt, the fitness centre, which takes up almost an entire floor. Splash around in the swimming pool, have a game at the squash or tennis courts, and try your hand at aerobics or yoga. In fact, this fitness centre is the largest of its kind in Bangkok. There’s even a jogging track, personal trainers for hire, and more than 100 workout stations at the gym.
Feeling peckish after your workout? Make a beeline for any of the hotel’s ten dining establishments.
Chit Lom Station
Just one stop from Siam BTS station, the Chit Lom area is a prime base for exploring. Within easy reach of the Big C Supercenter, Platinum Fashion Mall and more, the area is also near the laidback Lumphini Park.
6. Intercontinental Bangkok
Walking duration from Chit Lom BTS station: 5 minutes
Talk about a stay with a view! All the rooms at InterContinental Bangkok have large windows that showcase the city’s skyline in all its glittering splendour. The hotel overlooks the Royal Bangkok Sports Club too; if you’re lucky, you might even be able to watch a horse race from the comfort of your room. Savour this view from the Club Lounge as well — accessible by guests staying in any of the Executive guestrooms and suites, the lounge offers afternoon tea and, our all-time favourite, evening canapés and cocktails.
Can’t get enough of the view? Feast your eyes on gorgeous views from both the rooftop pool and gym, which also offers a hot tub, steam room, and sauna. The fitness centre is open round-the-clock for a post-guilty-pleasure-supper workout; and in the day, sign up for free Thai boxing, aerobics, or yoga classes.
7. Holiday Inn Bangkok
Walking duration from Chit Lom BTS station: 3 minutes
Bored of all the usual shopping malls? Check out Gaysorn Mall, a higher-end upmarket mall that’s directly connected to Holiday Inn Bangkok. The hotel itself has a particular focus on making things easier for families: besides babysitting services, kids even eat free at the onsite restaurants when accompanied by at least one adult. They also have a doctor on call should any medical attention (hopefully not!) be needed during your stay.
At the end of the day, troop the family up to the rooftop garden to watch a brilliant sunset. Don’t miss out on ordering from the pillow menu before you turn in for the night, where you can choose from a range of soft or firm pillows.
8. Renaissance Bangkok Ratchaprasong Hotel
Walking duration from Chit Lom BTS station: 2 minutes
Arrive at Renaissance Bangkok Ratchaprasong Hotel in style: simply reach out to the hotel before your stay, and be greeted with a swanky limousine transfer once you touch down at the airport. This 5-star hospitality is at the core of any stay, complete with welcoming staff who go out of their way to ensure that your time with them is one for the history books.
The sheltered walkway to the Chit Lom BTS is a godsend in rainy weather; there’s also a skywalk that links to The Market Bangkok, Gaysorn Mall, Big C Supercentre and more. If you don’t feel like leaving the hotel when it’s pouring (we feel you!), the hotel has a great sheltered alfresco pool, an in-house spa, as well as free fitness lessons at the gym.
9. Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok
Walking duration from Chit Lom BTS station: 7 minutes
The Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok certainly lives up to its grand title in every aspect: expect nothing less than towering ceilings, spiral staircases, and arched columns, revolving around an atrium with verdant trees and running water. This opulence is shown in the rooms as well, with a medley of modern and Thai elements woven into the decor. The freeform pool is particularly inviting on a hot day, surrounded by a tropical garden and lots of sunbeds.
Feeling like royalty? Splash out on the Erawan Suite, which has a separate living area, kitchen, fitness area, butler service, and even fast-track immigration service at the airport.
#KlookTip: Definitely make time for the afternoon tea at Erawan Tea Room, which has been awarded the accolade of ‘one of the world’s best high teas’ by Lonely Planet!
10. Sidhorn Midtown Hotel Bangkok
Walking duration from Chit Lom BTS station: 5 minutes

Dial the Popsicle Butler through the Emergency Popsicle Line on the hotel’s second floor to receive a refreshing popsicle. For the adults, a complimentary Lao Khao shot is served alongside pickled fruits from 5pm to 6pm daily at the Black Cat cocktail bar.
#KlookTip: Need anything else? Don’t worry about any language barrier, for the staff manning the 24-hour front desk are well versed in English, Mandarin, Thai, and Korean.
Asok Station
Asok is known as the New Central Business District, drawing lots of local and foreign investors. However, don’t discount its fun side: the Asok district is home to the travel-themed Terminal 21 shopping mall, as well as the Soi Cowboy nightlife area! If you need some respite, take a relaxing stroll at the scenic Benjakitti Park.
11. Grande Centre Point Hotel Terminal 21
Walking duration from Asok BTS station: 1 minute
Have direct access to Terminal 21 — which has got to be one of Bangkok’s most unique malls — with a stay at Grande Centre Point Hotel 21. Rooms wise, choose between a city view or a park view — although, chances being, you’ll probably be too busy shopping to spend much time in the hotel! If, however, you need some downtime in between shopping sprees, the hotel has plenty to entertain too. Think: a game room complete with video games, a foosball table, and an air hockey table; a movie room; a mini golf station; a jogging track; and an infinity pool.
Families should go for the Deluxe Family Connecting Room, which consists of two interconnecting Deluxe rooms. Kids under the age of four enjoy complimentary daily breakfast as well.
12. Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit

Other than these suites, guests staying in Luxury or Premier Rooms even get to enjoy a free 24-hour butler service. The butler can help with tasks like packing and unpacking — how awesome is that!
The hotel is directly connected to Asok BTS station, making getting in and out a breeze. Make sure to set aside time in your itinerary to check out the Living Room’s nightly jazz performances and Sunday Jazzy Brunch, as well as the novel Dining in The Dark experience.

Red Planet Bangkok is situated really close to both the Asok BTS station and the adjacent Sukhumvit MRT station. Despite its location, the hotel sits on a quiet street, providing a calm bubble for travellers seeking some escape from the noise.
The rooms are clean and compact. The hotel prides itself on having no hidden costs in room rates or provided amenities; indeed, what you see is what you’ll get. There isn’t any breakfast service at the hotel; but venture out to explore the area, and you’ll discover lots of delicious eats.
#KlookTip: Look out for the hotel’s logo at various restaurants to enjoy exclusive discounts. For example, snag 10% off your total bill at Esaan Nation Kitchen (Thai cuisine) or Waan D Asoke Swu (Thai dessert and drinks).
14. Sukhumvit Suites Hotel
Walking duration from Asok BTS station: 4 minutes
Sukhumvit Suites Hotel is a cosy sanctuary that’s just down the road from Asok BTS station. Victory Monument Station
Victory Monument is Bangkok’s major transport hub, and is where you can hop on a long-distance bus to other parts of Thailand. This is where you can live like a local, and gain insight into local Thai life. Come nightfall, watch as the streets (and parts of the skywalk!) are taken over by stalls peddling local eats, products, and crafts.
#KlookTip: The Victory Monument area is known for boat noodles, with many restaurants lining the right side of the canal. How many bowls can you eat?

Stay in either the Glass Tower or Garden Wing; for extra pizazz, choose an executive room or suite to enjoy access to the Club Lounge. Don’t forget to drop by the spa, which has a wide range of treatments. Wake Up, Day Time, or Evening treatments, anyone? Fitspos will love finding a yoga mat and dumbbells in the room. Avid joggers can also receive a complimentary fitness bag and local jogging map upon request.

Hostels are pocket-friendly options that allow you to make friends from around the world, some of whom can even become your spontaneous travel companions. T Hostel offers private rooms, gendered dorms, and mixed dorms — complete with a large communal lounge area for mingling.
#KlookTip: If you’re a solo female traveller, we recommend getting a bed in the 4-bed female dorm — the size of which makes it easier to strike up a conversation with your dorm-mates.
Don’t be turned off by the shared bathrooms; the ones here at T Hostel are immaculately clean, with soap and shampoo provided. There’s free water, tea, and coffee at the lounge too!
18. Fyn Park Hotel
Walking duration from Victory Monument BTS station: 9 minutes
Doesn’t the Fyn Park Hotel look absolutely gorgeous? Rocking an industrial loft aesthetic, the lobby sports red brick walls, large windows, sparkling chandeliers, and a stunning high ceiling. See the city from another perspective as you float along the river, with a tranquil and scenic view to boot. That’s not all: check out the tantalising Chocolate Boutique, or the kids’ offerings at NEXT2 Café on Sundays. How does a dedicated kids’ food counter, and a D.I.Y. pancake activity sound?
