Sapa Town Centre
Be right in the heart of all the action by staying at Sapa Town Centre. Besides having easy access to facilities and amenities, the town centre is where most tours meet too. Be spoiled for choice with plenty of restaurants and bars, complete with a bustling atmosphere.
#KlookTip: Due to the convenience, hotels get booked up quickly during peak season or over the weekends. Be sure to book your stays early!
1. Hotel de la Coupole - MGallery
Hotel de la Coupole - MGallery is easily one of Sapa’s grandest hotels. Decked out with a nostalgic flair, the hotel’s French-Indochina architecture wows guests at first sight. Soak your weary muscles in the heated pool after a long day of hiking, before enjoying a tipple at the rooftop bar. Families will be glad to hear that the hotel has a kids club too, with special activities held every Sunday from 2pm to 4pm.
The hotel wins with convenience, with attractions like Sapa Central Square and Sapa Stone Church being a mere three-minute and six-minute walk away respectively. Planning a day at Sun World Fansipan? The mountain train to the cable car terminal departs from right outside the hotel.

Outside of Sapa
10. Homestays
One of the best things to do in Sapa would be to go on a guided trekking tour to any of the surrounding mountain villages. These villages — such as Cat Cat Village, Ta Phin Village, Lao Chai Village, Ta Van Village, and more — are inhabited by ethnic minorities. We recommend taking a multi-day (or at least a 2D1N!) tour, where a homestay is included in the experience.
Run by a local family, a homestay is a fantastic way to gain insight into local culture. You’ll often stay in rural lodging, with basic furnishings. You’ll sleep on mattresses or basic beds, without any air-conditioning. Don’t worry, however; most homestays come with proper toilets! You’ll be treated to a hearty homecooked meal, which you can share with your kind hosts.
Some recommended homestays include Sapa Heavenly Homestay in Ta Phin Village; The Little Hmong House in Ta Van Village; and Stone Paradise Homestay in Cat Cat Village.
11. Mountain resorts
Otherwise, how about staying at a mountain resort? Check out Sapa Jade Hill Resort & Spa, where you can stay in gorgeous villas; Eco Palm House, which boasts splendid views; or Topas Ecolodge at Hoang Lien National Park, which offers travellers a memorable stay in one of its hilltop stone bungalows.
