Ultimate Guide to the Best Hotels to Stay Near Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea
Calling all Disney fans! No Tokyo trip is complete without an adventure at Tokyo Disney Resort, which is home to the Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea parks. A little heads-up: with the brand new Fantasy Springs area at Tokyo DisneySea, the two parks are now even more popular than before.
If you want to get an early headstart, book a night (or two) at any of these hotels near Tokyo Disneyland, or hotels in Tokyo DisneySea itself (we know!). Alternatively, pick any of the hotels near Maihama station (the nearest station to Tokyo Disney Resort); the Bayside station on the Tokyo Disney Resort line; or near Shin-Urayasu station (one stop from Maihama station).
Types of Disney hotels
There are different types of Disney hotels. They are:
a) Official Disney hotels
b) Partner hotels
c) Good Neighbour hotels
Disney Hotels are located in Tokyo Disney Resort itself, boasting a line-up of Disney-themed rooms, monorail passes, complimentary shuttle buses, complimentary shopping delivery right to the rooms, direct purchase of tickets, and even a nifty baggage delivery to/from Maihama station (complete with an early check-in service).
Partner hotels are located outside the resort (but within the area), but guests can easily travel to and fro via a complimentary shuttle bus. There are lots of Good Neighbour Hotels in Tokyo as well, where guests can also hop on complimentary shuttle buses to the Tokyo Disney Resort.
Which hotel near Tokyo Disneyland or Tokyo DisneySea do you want to stay in? Let the magic begin!
Hotels near Tokyo Disneyland
1. Tokyo Disneyland Hotel
Stay right in the heart of all the action at Tokyo Disneyland Hotel, which is located right in front of the park. The hotel is as grand on the inside as it is on the outside; sashay below sparkling chandeliers as you see little Disney-inspired details all around the hotel and its gardens.
We say that the room is all part of the experience: delight the kids with gorgeous guest rooms themed after Alice in Wonderland, Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, and Tinker Bell. These rooms can all sleep three to four people, which is perfect for families. In the summer, the pool has a large Misty Mountains pool that’d be great for some mid-day respite.
#KlookTip: If you have a little daughter in tow who’s always dreamed of becoming a princess, bring her straight to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in the hotel! Specially for children aged three to 11, the shop is manned by ‘Godmothers-in-training’ who will give your child a complete princess makeover.
2. Disney Ambassador Hotel
Modelled after America in the 1930’s, Disney Ambassador Hotel exudes a charming old-school elegance. Choose to stay in rooms themed after certain characters, such as Minnie Mouse, Chip ‘n Dale, Stitch, and Donald Duck rooms. Young kids won’t be able to get enough of the Chip ‘n Dale’s Playground, a kids’ play area where they can watch Disney movies, read books, and meet Chip and Dale themselves.
If you love character meet-and-greets, you’re in luck! Make time for the Chef Mickey buffet, where Mickey and friends will come say hi as you dine. Don’t forget to bring the adorable amenities found in your room home too: squeal at cute Disney-themed plastic cups, bars of soap, and toothbrushes.
#KlookTip: Up the happiness factor with ‘Happy Entry’, whereby guests staying at an official Disney hotel can enter Tokyo Disneyland or Tokyo DisneySea through a special entrance 15 minutes before the public.
Check the terms and conditions of 'Happy Entry' here.
Hotels in Tokyo DisneySea
Did you know that you can actually stay within the Tokyo DisneySea theme park? How awesome does that sound?
3. Tokyo DisneySea Hotel Fantasy Springs
The newest kid on the block, Tokyo DisneySea Hotel Fantasy Springs Hotel opened to much fanfare in June 2024. It’s the cherry on top of Fantasy Springs, Tokyo DisneySea’s eighth themed port, which reportedly cost a total of two billion dollars to build! The hotel dazzles with two buildings: the luxury Grand Chateau, and the deluxe Fantasy Chateau.
Decked out with plush decor, all guest rooms come with a balcony or terrace that overlooks the park. Keep a lookout for paintings and motifs depicting the Disney Princesses, complete with an overarching floral motif that runs throughout the hotel.
#KlookTip: Want to secure entrance into Fantasy Springs? Grab the hotel-exclusive 1-Day Passport: Fantasy Springs Magic, which will allow you to enjoy the area’s attractions, and reduce the waiting time, anytime during the day.
4. Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta
Can you believe that Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta is located inside the park itself? Enjoy fabulous views of the park from the rooms — the Tuscany wing offers a view of the Aquasphere; the Venice wing gives you a splendid view of the canals and Venetian Gondolas; and the Porto Paradiso wing is naturally the most popular of the lot for its magnificent harbour and volcano view. If you’re lucky enough to snag a Porto Paradiso room, you’ll be able to enjoy the nighttime shows that take place in the harbour right from the comfort of your very own room.
Even better: hotel guests have direct access to DisneySea through a special entrance too.
#KlookTip: Get comfy by reaching out to the hotel concierge to borrow some pyjamas. And yes, there are kid-sized ones available too!
Hotels near Bayside station (Tokyo Disney Resort line)
The Tokyo Disney Resort Line runs from Maihama Station and has four stations. Resort Gateway station is the nearest to Maihama Station, followed by Tokyo Disneyland Station, Bayside Station, and Tokyo DisneySea Station.
The monorail is a really nifty way to get around the resort, and takes just 13 minutes to make one loop. It’s really cute too, with Mickey-shaped windows and murals!
A single ticket costs 300yen (~S$2.70) for adults, and 150yen (~S$1.30) for children under the age of 12. If you want to take the train multiple times just for fun (we totally get it, we would too!), day passes are also available.
Stay in one of these hotels near Bayside station, and get to the parks in a jiffy. The station is also a stone’s throw away from Maihama Coast Boardwalk, which is lined with a relaxing seaside promenade — with a great view of Tokyo’s skyline to boot.
5. Toy Story Hotel
Distance to Bayside station: 10 minutes walk
This might just be one of the most aesthetic Disney hotels — tumble headfirst into the vibrant world of the Toy Story series at Toy Story Hotel! It offers a larger-than-life world where guests can feel as if they’re shrunk down to the size of a toy — especially when surrounded by oversized puzzle pieces and a board game ceiling. The Slinky Dog Park resembles a giant board game, and the Friends Square is dotted with large character statues for countless photo ops.
The rooms are inspired by Andy’s bedroom, complete with the iconic cloud design, an Etch-a-sketch television and, of course, the classic ‘Andy’ slippers. The Lotso restaurant is also a hit with children, complete with children’s menus that look as good as they taste.
#KlookTip: The Toy Story films are played on a loop in the lobby. What better way to entertain your kids whilst you settle the check-in?
6. Hotel Okura Tokyo Bay
Distance to Bayside station: 4 minutes walk
Feel as if you’ve travelled to Southern Europe at Hotel Okura Tokyo Bay, which resembles a regal seaside palace. From the seasonal flowers in the lobby to the spacious open-air courtyard in the middle of the building, the hotel oozes elegance right from the get-go. Omotenashi (the exceptional Japanese standard of service) is at the core of any stay here, alongside staff who are well-versed in English.
The rooms have a timeless design, with marble bathrooms adding an extra flair of pizazz. Look out your window, and you’ll be able to spot Tokyo Disneyland, Tokyo DisneySea, or a lovely panorama of Tokyo Bay.
#KlookTip: Psst, you won’t even have to take the monorail to the parks. Simply hop onto the complimentary shuttle bus!
7. Grand Nikko Tokyo Bay Maihama
Distance to Bayside station: 5 minutes walk
Grand Nikko Tokyo Bay Maihama has a gigantic open-air atrium that looks gorgeous both during the day and at night (when it’s strung up with fairy lights!). Choose a room on the Nikko floor, where guests enjoy exclusive access to the Nikko lounge; the Rainbow floor, where the rooms are decked out in a cheery palette; or the Garden floor, which is inspired by kaleidoscopic flowers in the sun.
Families will love the large family rooms on each floor. For the best of both worlds, check out the Japanese-Western style room on the Garden floor, which has a mix of beds on top of futons and tatami mats. If you’re having an extended family trip with elderly grandparents, the Universal Room comes with a sliding door for the bathroom, and is located near the elevator too. Plus point: the rooms here are generally bigger than the standard Tokyo hotel rooms too!
#KlookTip: Can’t wait to get an early start at the parks? Grab breakfast to go from two convenience stores located inside the hotel.
8. Tokyo Bay Maihama Hotel First Resort
Distance to Bayside station: 10 minutes walk
The rooms at Tokyo Bay Maihama Hotel First Resort are admittedly on the smaller side, but make up for it with its dedication to theme. The attention to detail is impressive: in the nautical-themed room, you’ll find life jackets hanging on walls, and map motifs adorning the walls. The castle-themed rooms, on the other hand, offer soothing tones of purple and pink, with the decor even extending to the corridor leading to the rooms. The hotel also has Western frontier-themed rooms!
If you’re travelling with little kids, the hotel has items like cribs, bed guards, nightwear, toilet seats, and diaper pails available for rent. Keen on an evening stroll? Head out to the gardens for a leisurely saunter among lush topiaries and fountains.

Distance to Bayside station: 10 minutes walk
Tokyo Bay Maihama Hotel wows at first sight with its 11-storied atrium, which lets in lots of natural light through its glass dome. Stay in a harmony or symphony room on the standard floors; families or larger groups can even get connecting rooms.
Otherwise, pamper yourself with a room on the hearth floors, which channels relaxation in every way possible. The rooms are covered with earthy tones, with a range of plant-based amenities lying in wait. That’s not all: you’ll also be granted complimentary access to the spa, which has a mist sauna and whirlpool. Have a good soak, then refuel with a snack from the vending machines found on each floor.
#KlookTip: Don’t want to deal with the crowds at reception? Easily have a contactless check-out via your room television.
10. Hilton Tokyo Bay
Distance to Bayside station: 4 minutes walk
You won’t go wrong with a stay at Hilton Tokyo Bay! The cherry on top? A magnificent view of Mt. Fuji on a clear day. Pick from ocean-side or park-side rooms, which are split into different categories. Guests staying in the celebration rooms and suites are granted access to a lounge that has refreshments and evening cocktails. The Happy Magic rooms are part of a magical fairytale world, where the corridors and rooms are decorated with children in mind.
If you’re travelling with a larger group, some rooms can sleep up to six people too. Have a mid-day dip at the indoor and outdoor pools, or indulge in an afternoon dessert buffet. Be spoiled for choice with a whopping six dining choices at the hotel — dim sum, grilled steaks, or fresh pasta, anyone?
11. Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay Hotel
Distance to Bayside station: 1 minute walk
On top of being just across from Bayside station, Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay Hotel has plenty to entice travellers with. In fact, we won’t blame you if you want to book a few non-Disney days just to enjoy the hotel, which is incredibly family-friendly.
Make a beeline for the Oasis, a recreation facility that has a new Wizkids indoor playground, mini-golf, a full-fledged flight simulator, and a Namco Land game arcade. There’s also a large onsen; Studio Alice, where you can don costumes for a photoshoot; a heated indoor pool; and a gorgeous outdoor pool that’s only open in the summer. Rooms-wise, we’ve got our eye on the newly renovated ocean-themed rooms. There are even some rooms that are dog-friendly!
#KlookTip: There are direct buses to and from both Haneda and Narita airports to Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay Hotel.
Hotels near Maihama station
Run by JR East, Maihama is the nearest public train station to the Tokyo Disney Resort. 14. Spa & Hotel Maihama Eurasia
Distance to Maihama station: 12 minutes bus
Immerse in local culture at Spa & Hotel Maihama Eurasia, which tempts with Japanese tatami mat rooms and a fantastic onsen. The three-storied bathhouse is home to gendered and co-ed onsens, where the water continuously flows from a hot spring. Treat yourself to a spa treatment, or just kick back and relax in the sauna.
#KlookTip: Even after you check out, feel free to continue using the bathhouse at a discounted rate.
Unwind further at the rooftop terrace, which has a great view of the Maihama Bay area. Other than Japanese-style rooms, the hotel also has Western-style rooms — both of which come with complimentary pyjamas and slippers to wear around the hotel. It’s admittedly a little further from Maihama station, but nothing that a free shuttle to the station and Tokyo Disney Resort can’t fix.
15. Four Stories Hotel Maihama Tokyo Bay
Distance to Maihama station: 12 minutes bus
Four Stories Hotel Maihama Tokyo Bay focuses only on accommodation: you’ll only find rooms at this hotel, without any dining establishments. However, that won’t be an issue as there’s a Mcdonalds just one-minute walk away, a convenience store a three-minute walk away, and multiple restaurants within a five-minute walk of the hotel.
The hotel specialises in rooms that sleep three to four people — these aren’t your usual cookie-cutter type of rooms, and come with stairs that lead to an upper bunk, or a ladder that goes up to a loft. The rooms are bright and cherry, and are decorated with Hollywood or ocean motifs. You can be assured of a good night’s sleep, as each room is fitted with soundproof windows. Don’t forget to drop by the amenities corner on the first floor, where you can load up on makeup remover, toner, disposable poachers, body sponges, razors, and hair nets.
#KlookTip: Kids under the age of six can also stay for free if they co-sleep.

The rooms are basic and functional, and are all non-smoking. That being said, you’ll still find the odd dinosaur motif adorning the room walls. Due to popular demand, the hotel has introduced a room inspired by the ‘Crayon Shin-chan: Our Dinosaur Diary’ movie, as well as a room decorated with all things dinosaur. Each room also comes with a little bedside robot called RoBoHon, which acts like a Siri of some sort. Feel free to ask it about the weather forecast, or task it with setting alarms.
The restaurant also stays true to theme, with a giant dinosaur mural, complete with Jurassic Park vibes. Check out the ‘power salad’ corner, dessert bar, and low buffet stands catered specially for kids.

Hey, even the elevators are themed, with greetings played in Mickey’s voice. Choose to stay in one of the two wings: ‘Wish’ that channels fantasy and dreams, and ‘Discover’ that’s all about adventure and discovery.
