The Frasers Hospitality brand is reputed globally, and its Osaka edition is no exception. At the Fraser Residence Nankai Osaka, you can choose the one-bedroom apartments, which fit two adults and one child; or the two-bedroom apartments, which fit four adults and one child, or two adults and two children — whichever suits you better. 6. Hotel Naniwa Shimanouchi
Hotel Naniwa is a no-frills hotel found just a five-minute walk from Nipponbashi station, and a short three-minute walk from Dotonbori. The hotel offers a great pocket-friendly way of trying Japanese-style living, where you can opt for a four- or five-person room. For the uninitiated, this involves sleeping on comfortable futons on tatami mats; these futons can be folded and stored away during the day, transforming the space into a living area — which also creates a large playing area for kids.
Alternatively, there’s also a quadruple Western-style room. The hotel provides yukatas and strollers for free as well. Unfortunately, there isn’t an on-site restaurant, but the hotel is surrounded by plenty of good eats. It is Japan, after all!

7. Karaksa Hotel
The Karaksa hotels have everything thought out when it comes to visiting families, where you can choose from four different family-friendly plans. The ‘travel light with baby’ plan gives families a set of baby items which include diapers, wipes, and baby toiletries; and the ‘toy gift of choice’ plan allows children to choose up to three toys to keep per stay.
