Experience the magic of Disneyland Paris once more
Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo! Paris couldn’t get more magical than with the reopening of Disneyland. After a long 18 months, the theme park finally opened its doors once again last June 17, 2021. With it, comes adventure and magic!
Thrilling new Disneyland Paris attractions, fun-filled hotels, and spectacular shows were launched with the reopening. Marvel fans will surely enjoy the newly opened Hotel New York - the Art of Marvel, where they can take a snap with the life size Iron Man statue.
Of course, we can’t wait to revisit our favourite Disneyland Paris rides. Classics such as “It’s a Small World,” and the “Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast” return.
On the other hand, if you’re anticipating to ride the Pirate Galleon, you’ll have to wait. Due to COVID-19, some Disneyland Paris attractions are temporarily put on hold.

How about parades and events?
A Disneyland Park visit wouldn’t be complete without the Magical Fireworks & Bonfires and the Disney Parade. Sadly, due to COVID-19 restrictions, both the events are temporarily cancelled.
It’s a big bummer―we know. But hope isn’t lost. The show will go on! Although there are no confirmed dates yet, the Disney Stars on Parade and Disney Illuminations Night Time Spectacular are slated to return later this year.
In the meantime, you can catch the entire gang at the annual Enchanted Christmas and New Year’s Eve celebration at the Disney Village. Get to experience Disney’s magical fireworks display once again and spend the holidays at Disneyland Paris, the happiest place on earth.
Things to remember before visiting Disneyland Paris
We’re all excited! But before you take the next plane to Paris, here are 3 things that you should prepare beforehand:
- Health Pass (digital or physical copy)

- Park reservations (no reservation, no entry!)
In order to make Disneyland Paris a safe destination for both guests and staff, health passes are required for adults aged 18 and up. Guests must show a proof of full vaccination OR a negative PCR/Antigen test results within 72 hours before the visit.
For persons who’ve had COVID-19, a recovery certificate is needed.
Note: Health Pass will also apply to guests aged 12 to 17 beginning September 30.
And last but not the least, follow social distancing cues! Face masks are required at all indoor locations, including shuttles and buses.
