    Getting to Niseko Ski Resort from Sapporo

    The closest airport is Sapporo's New Chitose Airport, located approximately 2.5 hours away by car. Reaching Niseko is straightforward, with several convenient transportation options available. Whether you choose to travel by train, bus, or car, the train is the most recommended option, offering picturesque scenery along the way.
    From the airport, you can book a comfortable shuttle bus service that takes about 3 hours.
    If you prefer to drive, you can rent a car in Sapporo and go on a winter road trip around Hokkaido! Renting a car gives you the freedom to explore at your own pace and discover hidden gems around the area.
    For those traveling by train, the nearest station is in Kutchan, just a 10-minute drive from Niseko. From Kutchan station, you can take a taxi or bus to your accommodation, making train travel a convenient option for visitors.

    Getting Around Niseko

    Once in Niseko, getting around is hassle-free — there are plenty of bus services available for those who aren't driving.
    The Niseko United Shuttle connects all four resorts and runs regularly throughout winter, ensuring you can easily explore the entire Niseko area. The shuttle is free for “All Mountain Pass” holders, and there is a fee for non-pass holders.
    Alternatively, visitors can take the public buses that operate throughout the Niseko area connecting Kutchan Town, Hirafu, Niseko Town, and beyond. The two main public bus companies are Niseko Bus and Donan Bus. 
    There's also the Hanazono Shuttle that connects Hanazano and Hirafu, as well as the free Hirafu Village Shuttle Bus shuttle that runs through the Hirafu Village and transports guests around the village and up to the Hirafu ski area.

    Restaurants and Nightlife in Niseko

    Niseko isn’t just known for its skiing but also for its vibrant nightlife and diverse dining.
    Hirafu is the hub, lined with restaurants and bars along its main street. For international dishes, try the Hilton Niseko Village’s restaurant, while Green Leaf Niseko Village offers traditional Japanese cuisine. Hanazono Resort blends Japanese and Western flavors for a bit of everything.
    For nightlife, Hilton’s bar is popular for its cocktail menu, and Green Leaf’s bar is perfect for a cozy drink.
