Stay in these Hotels that Have Stunning Views of Mt Fuji!
Mt. Fuji is one of the most iconic symbols of Japan. Standing at 3,776 metres tall, the mountain is located in the Kawaguchiko area. There’s plenty to do here too — go up to the 5th station, go hiking, take the Kachi Kachi ropeway, sail on a sightseeing lake cruise, visit Oshino Hakkai, shop till you drop at Gotemba Shopping Outlets, scream your hearts out at Fuji Q Highland, and more.
Get there via a direct 1-hour-45-minute bus from Shinjuku; in just over three hours via multiple trains (including the cute themed Fujisan Express); or on a sightseeing tour. Don’t rush the experience, however: just imagine waking up to a glorious view of Mt. Fuji itself! In fact, why not make your dreams a reality by booking a night (or a few!) at one of these stunning stays — that come with splendid Mt. Fuji views to boot?
