    Should you miss this JR Yamatoji Rapid Service, you can still hop on Tennoji Station, where you can hop onto the JR Yamatoji Line for Nara. There are an average of 4 Rapid Service trains an hour. This journey will take slightly under an hour and costs ¥820.

    Namba Station to Nara

    If you're starting your day at JR Namba Station, you can catch the Rapid Service Train to Nara or Kamo on the JR Yamatoji Line during morning rush hours between 7 AM to 9:30 AM. This train will whisk you directly to JR Nara Station in just over 40 minutes. This train ride will cost you ¥580.
    You can also catch the same Rapid Service Train back from Nara to JR Namba starting 6PM at JR Nara Station.
