How to Get to Pandawa Beach in Bali

The most convenient way to get there is via a private car. Availability of public transportation and Grab/taxis may be unpredictable in this part of Bali, so your best bet is to already have your own ride going there and back. 

The area surrounding Pandawa Beach is well-developed so the roads are safe to pass through despite being a mountain area. There are some visitors who even use a scooter to get around if they’re coming from the neighboring beach areas! Parking lots are available right beside Pandawa Beach.

The area is pretty well-developed, and you can expect to see huge signs once you’re approaching it so you know you’re on the right track.

Once you get to Pandawa Beach, you’ll first have to pay an entrance fee of 15,000 IDR (approximately USD $0.97).  This is a little higher than other beaches in the area, but it’s well worth it considering how maintained this stretch is. 

The waters are usually calm enough for swimming, and kayaking is especially popular here. You can rent kayaking equipment from the abundance of stores and rental places by the shore. They usually only take cash though, so don’t forget to have some on hand! There are also lots of local shops to eat in, so feel free to explore some Balinese beach grub.

This beach is more on the quiet side and the waves are quite gentle, so you can enjoy a laidback day just strolling along the shore and taking in the views. This is a popular area for large groups and families, but with how long its beachfront is, you’ll surely secure a spot for some well-deserved R&R.
