March 31 (Monday) - Eid Al Fitr
This year, Eid Al Fitr offers UAE residents a four-day holiday. The official gazette of the UAE Cabinet has announced that the first three days of Shawwal (the month following Ramadan on the Islamic New Year) will be designated as public holidays. If Ramadan lasts for 30 days, the 30th of Ramadan will also be a holiday, extending the break to four days in total. By combining the public holidays with the preceding Saturday and Sunday, you can enjoy a long week off, making it an ideal time to relax, travel, or celebrate with family.
April 2025
April 1(Tuesday) to April 2 (Wednesday) - Eid Al Fitr
Subject to moon sighting, if Ramadan starts on Saturday, March 1, and ends on Sunday, March 30, Eid Al Fitr is expected to fall between Monday, March 31, and Wednesday, April 2. By taking leave on Thursday, April 3, and Friday, April 4, you could enjoy an extended break of nine consecutive days.
