Probably the best Klook tour I’ve booked in Chiang Mai! the trip was right on time and on schedule. our guide really took his time to explain a lot of things about the temples we visited, he was very informative. he takes care of everyone and is very kind. I really enjoyed this trip and I would recommend it to anyone to go book a sunrise tour because there wasn’t too many people and it’s a refreshing one!

The order of the tour is to tell the elephant type, name, and age in the sanctuary, change clothes, feed it, take pictures, give it sugarcane, then go to the muddy water and get the elephants covered in mud. Afterwards, they wipe the mud off the elephants from the muddy water and provide fried rice for lunch. It was fun and it was great to see and experience the elephants up close. Seeing that other tours involve washing elephants in clear water, I think it would be a good idea to use Naver Blog to select the correct company instead of just looking at Klook.

Booking this trip was a breeze, and I received a confirmation within minutes, which added to the overall convenience. Pui, our tour guide, reached out the evening before our journey to confirm the arrangements, showing a high level of communication and care. On the day of the tour, she arrived early to pick me up, which was reassuring and set a positive tone for the rest of the day. Our group consisted of five people, including myself, and while the car was a bit of a squeeze for everyone, we managed comfortably enough. Despite not being well conversed in English, Pui made a sincere effort to share information about the places we were visiting. Her dedication to making sure we understood the significance of each site was evident and added value to the trip. Our first destination was Doi Suthep, which took about an hour to reach along winding roads. The journey was part of the adventure, and the scenic drive prepared us for the stunning sight that awaited us. Upon arrival, the temple’s grandeur was truly breathtaking, and we had ample time to explore the intricate architecture, admire the views, and soak in the spiritual atmosphere. Next, we headed to Hmong Doi Pui, not far from the temple. This charming village offered a glimpse into the traditional Hmong culture. We saw a lovely waterfall and encountered children dressed in beautiful traditional Hmong outfits, which added a cultural touch to the visit. Although the area was mainly filled with shops selling local crafts and souvenirs, the waterfall and the surrounding lush greenery made for a pleasant stop. Our final visit was to Wat Umong, a unique temple known for its ancient tunnels and serene forest setting. Exploring the tunnels was fascinating, as they led to various shrines and provided a peaceful, reflective space unlike any other temple I’ve visited. We were given plenty of time to wander through the tunnels, visit the temples inside, and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere of the surrounding grounds. Overall, the tour was well-paced, with just the right amount of time at each location. The entire experience, lasting about 4.5 hours, was enjoyable and didn’t feel rushed.

The Chiang Mai Michelin Food Tour with guide Pattie was an unforgettable culinary adventure. Pattie's expertise and enthusiasm elevated the experience as we savored delectable dishes from street food to Michelin-starred delights. Her recommendations were spot-on, making it a highlight of my visit to Thailand. If you're a food lover in Chiang Mai, this tour is a must-do!

There were a total of 9 people in the group this time, from all over the world. It was a great exchange. The tour guide is Booncharoen Thongyou. He is kind and patient in answering questions. He is full of emotional value. It is a great trip. The following are a few things you need to pay attention to when booking your itinerary to have a better experience: 1) English/Thai guide, you must have a certain understanding of English proper nouns. 2) The tour mainly explains the culture of Thailand’s main temples, so it would be better if you do some homework before traveling. 3) Temple tickets will increase in 2024. The three main guided temples are 50-20-50 yuan. Prepare change if possible. 4) Girls need to wear clothing that can cover their shoulders and knees; it is best to wear slippers for easy putting on and taking off.
