Highly recommended for those looking to experience snow and skiing near Tokyo! Cons: ➖ Crowded During Peak Season – Expect long lines for rentals and lifts, especially on weekends and holidays. ➖ Additional Costs for Some Activities – While the ski pass covers lifts, other activities like sledding or snowboarding lessons come at an extra cost.

It was a totally fun experience specially for people who came from tropical countries. We had fun playing in snow and using the gondola and skylift. Totally worth it!

Gala Yuzawa was a lot of fun but there were A LOT of people. but i guess staff are pretty seasoned coz between the gondola ticket redemption, gear rental and payment, gondola ride, skylift ride, the canteen area and food purchases it was pretty fast and orderly. again expect tons of people during the peak season, foreigners and locals alike. as for the gondola ticket redemption, it was a Hassle free and easy redemption. dont worry about having to fill in the details of the others in a group booking coz they most likely just keep them for reference.

The coach sent me a letter to arrange the meeting point. The coach showed up on time. He was very nice and patient with me as a beginner. When I wanted to give up, he kept giving me confidence and help. I finally found the balance point and started to slide down by myself without falling. Without his guidance, I would not be able to learn snowboarding. I must find a coach to practice by myself. It is too difficult.

The coach will contact the students via WhatsApp the day before the course. If you sign up for a six-hour course, you can master the basic skills.
