I recently took a half-day sunrise tour of Hehuan Mountain. The day before departure, I received a message informing me to wait outside the hotel and providing the pick-up car's license plate and pick-up time. This time, the Sunrise Group sent two special buses. I was told to take the second bus, but the first bus arrived first and took me away. The early morning drive was full of expectations. We watched the starry sky in Diablo Park and left wonderful memories in front of the archways in Wuling and Hehuan Mountains. When we watched the sunrise from the top of the mountain, the view was breathtaking. The tour guide was very professional and friendly, provided lots of interesting local information and made sure every participant was comfortable. The small group arrangement allowed us to enjoy a more personalized experience while allowing plenty of time for photos and stunning views.

I was touched by the trip. When I got off the bus, I saw the sky full of stars. The driver was very talkative. He prepared ginger tea for us and helped us take photos of the beautiful starry sky. He also explained the constellations. It was a very rich trip.

The staff contacted me a day earlier to inform me about the pick up time and location. On the day of pick up, driver was on time and it was a smooth ride. Had a few stops to let us take photos too. Stargazing and sunrise was awesome and the view is definitely surreal. Sad that there’s no Milky Way but the stars are definitely different. Love it and it is worth waking up middle of the night just for this short tour! I will want to come back again next time hoping to see the Milky Way!

The tour guide was very funny and shared a lot of astronomy and cosmic knowledge. Although the weather was not very good, you could still see the sea of clouds and try your luck to see the burning clouds. You probably won't encounter them this time. The price is a little cheaper than buying it at Cingjing Farm B&B. First we went to Ankong Park, then to the Hehuan Mountain sign to take pictures, then to a place recommended by a tour guide to watch the sunrise, and finally to Wuling, where the scenery was pleasant.
