It was a really fun experience to dive into the edo-era of Japan. There were mini activities (extra cost) such as archery & shuriken throwing that were very fun! You also have the option of dressing up (at an extra cost), which we didn’t get to do. There are also spontaneous shows that the workers perform throughout the park and at various times, which was fun to watch!

Worth the visit, even if to just experience an Edo setting and get a photo in a period costume. There is a free shuttle bus that leaves the JR Nikko Station that isn’t listed on public transport, makes the visit from Nikko easy.

We had so much fun!! Lots of activities inside. must not miss all shows. The park is very well made. So meticulous with the details. and the mountains behind adds a nice touch to the view. JUST MAKE SURE to come in the morning because it’s definitely a whole day activity.

I really love the place, great atmosphere. The shows were entertaining even though we didn’t speak Japanese, I believe that been in a costume is better. The only thing that’s a bit far away and difficulty for getting there from Tokyo.

What and incredible experience! We had no issue redeeming our tickets that wr bought here on Klook when we arrived. There is a free shuttle bus that leaves from Nikko station and the same bus brings you back into town. I believe the last bus leaves at 4:12 p.m. shortly after the park closes. It was definitely a once in a lifetime experience as we were able to live in the edo for a few hours dressed as Lords, Samurai and princesses. Highly recommended if you ever come to Nikko!!!

Both adults and children enjoyed the ninja experience. The favorite of both dads and children was the Minamimachibugyosho.
