In this hotel. the rooms are like a condo unit. It's so big and spacious and complete with all the amenities and appliances you will need, It even has a washingmachine and a separate dryer. We were only 2 when we stayed at the place, but I think it can accommodate up to 6 or even 8 people easily. It has 2 double beds in a room and a separate tatami room which also can be converted into bedroom with futons provided. It has a large kitchen with completely cook wares and dinning utensils. The dinning are is also good. There's a big TV in the sitting room with netflix and a small one in the bedroom. There are also 2 washrooms and 1 shower/ bathtub. The views from the windows are small veranda were also amazing. Too bad we only stayed 1 night because they have public onsens but you can't use it or reserve it privately. So we transfered to a ryokan that offer private onsen use. For the price we paid, the room was definitely worth it. We'll definitely book again, when visiting hakone. The only down side was it was a bit far from bus station and cable car station. especially if you have big luggage's with you as it was uphill.

I chose the dormitory room. There was a partition between each bed, so I could relax. I went in December and it was cold outside in the mornings and evenings, but the air conditioning was working perfectly inside and it was very comfortable. There were also small restaurants and convenience stores to the east and west of the hotel, so it was convenient. The trailhead for Mt. Kintoki, where the legend of Kintaro is based, is nearby, so I would like to go there again.

the best luxurious experience one can expect! I booked this hotel for a night in Hakone and now seems to be the best hotel in the whole trip!! Really recommend it for anyone who is planning to come to Hakone. staff is humble and nice. the rooms are AMAZING!! Plus there is an onsen inside the hotel.

I stayed in the Annex room during our visit. Everyone all loved the place, the room, onsent and the location of this Ryokan. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for a traditional Ryokan. The view is great and it is very quiet and peaceful. There's also a hiking trail across that you can take a short hike to a waterfall. I would definitely recommend it.

It is very close to Taoyuandai Station and can be reached quickly on foot, which is very convenient; the bed and tatami in the room are very comfortable, so you can sleep on them; the hot spring is good, but there are no deck chairs in the open-air area to cool down and rest, which is a pity; breakfast and dinner are very good It's sumptuous, and there's also wine for dinner. There are so many items, it's impossible to drink them all.

This was my favourite stay of our entire trip to Japan, and I'm so glad I booked it through Klook. If you are going ahead of time, do your research, look up their phone number online, and give them a call. You can arrive at any time because the check-in is open 24 hours a day. The cost is well worth it to splurge and enjoy yourself. They have a garden on site with lights at night. They have vending machines. There is a breakfast buffet and dinner included, depending on which room you choose. Just amazing stuff. They were all around friendly and allowed us to take photos everywhere. They took photos with and without us.

Much better than I expected. It’s very easy to reserve onsen at check in. We have the traditional Japanese room that is very spacious. I highly recommend getting the meal options (breakfast+dinner) as it’s quite difficult to get food past 4pm in the area.
