Things to do in Buyan Lake

Our tour guide, Dedy, is a professional, enthusiastic and polite local young man. He gave us a detailed speech about the jungle conditions, flora and fauna, as well as the history and culture of Bali throughout the trip. He also provided us with drinking water and a delicious lunch. Overall, this experience was excellent and highly recommended to everyone!

Great value for money adventure, a primeval forest where you'd get lost without a guide, a refreshing canoe, a fascinating temple, and a super beautiful waterfall

It was a very good experience to watch dolphins. The eka driver picked us up at the hotel entrance on time. His driving skills were superb. The captain took us to see dolphins many times. The dolphins were more active after 7 o'clock. Because it was the rainy season, I was worried that it would rain the next day. After the end, I paid another 550k to the driver to take us to Uluwatu. He also took us to drink local specialty coffee and restaurants. It was super nice.

Our guide and instructors were Oka and a lady. They are super professional and obviously know what they are doing and super well trained. We had our fears especially since I have a fear of heights but the guides were very patient, reassuring us and we felt very comfortable, confident and safe with them after the initial stages. thank you so much for helping us experience canyoneering in Bali. truly an unforgettable experience. Will love to come back to this again.

The driver was very good. We made an appointment late the day before. The driver was working in the early morning and came to pick us up on time the next day. He drove very steadily. The weather was very good that day. We chased dolphins and snorkeled. When we finished, he saw that we hadn't eaten yet and prepared food and water for us. The driver was very nice.

It took about an hour and a half from Ubud. I decided to do the jungle tour and it was such a fun time that I don't regret it. If you like nature, I highly recommend it. Trekking in the jungle forest was an impressive and new experience. I was worried that it would be too hard because I was with my mother who is turning 60 this year, but fortunately, it was at a walking level, and the guide waited for me as I walked slowly. The description said that the trekking would take 3-4 hours, so I was worried, but it seems that the total walking time for the day was written down to the waterfall instead of continuously walking through the jungle forest for 3-4 hours. We walked through the jungle forest for about an hour and a half, then we took a canoe and drove to the waterfall and went down to see the waterfall. So I think it was good because it was easy to walk. (However, the stairs going down to the entrance and the stairs going down to see the waterfall were steep, so it was a little difficult, but I don't think it was enough to give up.) My guide was Kadek, and he was really kind and told me about the characteristics of plants and trees while we were trekking, so it wasn't boring to walk. He explained everything in detail, so it was new and fun to listen to the explanation. I went trekking, canoeing, and went to see a waterfall as the last course, so I was able to have a full day with various experiences in one day. I was worried that the lunch menu would not suit my taste, but it was much more delicious than the nasi campur I had at a restaurant with a 4.8 rating in Ubud, and the snacks served in the middle were also delicious. I left in the morning and returned to my accommodation around 4 o'clock, so it seems like a good place to take a short rest at the accommodation and then go out for dinner. If you have the energy, it would be good to go sightseeing in the city or get a massage. If you are staying in Ubud, it seems like a good place to go on a day tour course.

The farm is very beautiful! Gita and the other staff made our day, tho it’s raining they helped us enjoy our brunch with the Alpaca! Very accommodating and approachable. Farm was very clean and animals are healthy!
