Things to do in Te Puia - Rotorua, NZ

Have a great time at Te Puia. Enjoyed the guided tour, kiwi santuary tour, maori themed dinner. Ended the trip with a cultural show and hot chocolate! Totally enjoyed ourselves!

It is convenient and fast. It is recommended to arrive 15 minutes in advance to exchange tickets and wear bracelets. Afterwards, you will wait in a hall to watch videos. The tour guide can let you understand Maori culture👍👍

Started the day with Chris 6.20am at sky city hotel entrance. He is a friendly expert driver who drove us to Hobbiton and handed us to Rob who was our guide at Hobbiton. We had ginger beer which has no alcohol. He shared stories which made the tour more interesting. We were lucky to have them.

The highlight of our short North Island Trip! highly recommended to anyone visiting New Zealand with limited time & or not keen on driving yourself to Rotorua. The guide/driver was very attentive & accomodating. We never felt rushed during the tour even though we were on time limit. I tried the lamb pie that the guide recommended and it turns out to be the best pie I’ve had in NZ!

A planned tour by local Maori people introduces the culture and background of the Maori village (ex: wood carving, weaving, etc.), and enjoys the Maori war dance, which is a very good cultural experience. There are geothermal fountains and two kiwi birds to visit in the park. I happened to see the kiwi running around, which was very cute. The lunch buffet is pretty good and not too expensive based on New Zealand prices.

Tour guide Christ is quite enthusiastic and dedicated. Picked up at the pick up point on time. The program takes about 12 hours. Suitable for those who do not have much time in the North Island and want to visit the main attractions in the North Island

What a wonderful experience for fans of the LOTR and The Hobbit. Ticketing was easy with Klook and from there, the guided tour took us about 2 hours with 1 complimentary serving of beverage (alcoholic or non-alcoholic)
