Kamikochi tours

We're glad we booked this tour. Kamikochi is sooo beautiful. Plus we got it at a discount. Very, very much worth it. Our tourguide was Chinese and couldn't speak English but it's okay as we knew before booking that it was a Chinese tour. So we truly appreciate her effort to translate through her phone what she wanted to let us know. Thanks, Luan. We did the taisho to kappabashi bridge trail 👣 Amazing views. I suggest if you're doing this trail, take a little detour to tashiro pond.

The tour was very smooth. I love everything about it. I wasn’t able to get to Myojin pond however, my trip their was suffice. I wanna go back next autumn with this booking. Hopefully I’d get to see some snow caps on the mountains already! 🥰

Kamikochi is worth the visit. Is a very scenic walking tour. We were given full 3.5 hrs to explore on our own. Tour guide 小郭 was a chinese speaking guide. She had given full details needed for the walk and had given us good recommendation of places to eat at Nagoya City after the tour. Indeed is a good value for money package. Quality of the bus and driver was good as well.

We had an unforgettable trip to Nagoya and Kamikochi! The weather was perfect, adding to the beauty of the breathtaking scenery. A special thanks to our tour guide, Mou Yan, who was incredibly kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. She made sure everything went smoothly, and her warm personality really enhanced our experience. We truly had a lot of fun and would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a wonderful adventure!

Good experience as always. the guide was also friendly and cooperative. Although the guide was supposed to speak Chinese, still he explained in Japanese to us as we don't understand Chinese language.

Kamikochi has one of the best trail with amazing view. We spend around 3hours for the whole 8km journey including short lunch time and purchasing of souvenir. The cons part is too many tourists and it's little too crowded, so be prepared if you wish to buy your meal and souvenir. Our tour guide Amy is really a responsive guide, she response to our questions within minutes and she do remind us about the weather before the trip.

3 hours and 30 minutes is enough to walk from the first point to Myojin Pond if you are a fast walker. However, if you are not a fast walker, I recommend asking the guide to go down at Kappa Bridge and go to Myojin first, then walk back, calculating the round trip time because there is not much to do at the first point.

The tour guide is pretty good. Kamikochi is worth a visit. The first 700 meters of Line A + Line B are recommended. The latter part of Line B requires some physical strength. Because I don't want to go around in the local area to find a bus and then transfer, I chose a one-day tour of Kamikochi. Although there are some episodes on the return trip, it is indeed more labor-saving than going by myself. We gathered near Nagoya Station and finally disbanded there. The tour guide will recommend two lines, which are actually the first and second half of Taisho Pond to Myojin Pond with Kappa Bridge as the midpoint. It rained that day, so it is recommended to prepare a disposable raincoat or umbrella. It costs about 800 yen to buy a raincoat there. The restaurants and souvenir shops are basically concentrated at Kappa Bridge. There will be more people, so you must calculate the time. The Kamikochi Central Post Office is also nearby, and you can stamp and send postcards, which is still more time-saving and labor-saving than going by yourself! Recommended, recommended!
