It’s only 5 minutes away from Ikebukuro Station, which is really convenient. You’ll also pass a gashapon shop and BigCamera along the way. If you don’t want to visit the attractions, you can go shopping along the way to Sunshine City. The department stores also have all the brands, so there’s no need to queue. The location is really excellent. The only drawback is that in winter, only heating is provided, but fans can be loaned out at the counter, which also solves the problem of some rooms being too warm.

There is luggage storage and a 24-hour front desk! There are also Chinese-speaking specialists so you don’t have to worry about communication issues! The room is also very clean and simple! If you have luggage, it is recommended to take exit 35. There are escalators available! There is also a 7-11 & FamilyMart downstairs! Shopping in Ikebukuro is very convenient! If you buy too much, you can go back to the hotel to store your loot and rest 😂

This time I chose to book APA Hotel Yamanote Otsuka Eki Tower through Klook and I was very satisfied.

This place really meets all the needs of travelers! There are shops nearby and restaurants downstairs for food, and they are diverse. It’s more convenient to buy and suitable for all ages! The hotel key card is directly there. There is an ice machine on the 6th floor. There is a family convenience store downstairs where you can buy food and drinks, even if you don’t have socks! The focus is on the good texture! Anyway, I recommend my children to stay at the Sunshine City Prince Hotel Ikebukuro, which is accessible by airport bus, when they come to Japan again👍

A very satisfying accommodation experience. The location is convenient. There is a convenience store opposite the hotel. There are a lot of restaurants and shops around. The staff are polite. I highly recommend it. I will stay here again next time I go to Tokyo.
