Things to do in Danau Batur

This trip was great and I can recommend it. You have to get up very early in the morning, but at least you avoid the heat, which is sometimes difficult during trips. There were a lot of jeeps while we were waiting for the sunrise, but the driver parked so well that we had a great view. I would like to thank both drivers, Alit and Ngurah. Alit drove us to Batur and was courteous and kind. Ngurah was then in charge of the jeep and the journey to Batur. He drove us expertly and safely. I must especially highlight Ngurah's skills as a photographer, he was very patient and took amazing photos for us. The sunrise was very beautiful. We then drove to a restaurant where the view was beautiful and had breakfast. The whole trip was very nice and easy.

Had a great time hiking Mt Batur. Our guide Ketut was very knowledgeable and friendly. We enjoyed a simple breakfast at the top while we waited for the sun to rise. Our driver Deedee was also very friendly. He pulled over twice so we can buy some fruits on the side of the street and shared Durian with us.

Hiking Mount Batur was a great experience! The trek itself wasn’t too challenging, with the only real difficulties being the steep and slippery paths. Overall, it was very manageable. I’d recommend wearing long sleeves and long pants to stay warm and protect yourself from insects. Our tour guide was amazing she took me to the best spots for photos, making the experience even more memorable. And a huge shoutout to my transfer driver, Dika! He was so genuine, funny, and accommodating. Thank you, Dika! You’re a wonderful person, and I know you’ll go far in life. One of the best hikes I’ve ever done! And lastly, Montana Coffee is a must try, i love their truffle pasta and acai bowl💕🫶

It was a great experience! Aldy and team was very accommodating and on time. We departed from our hotel 230am and reach at the sunrise spot at 4.20am we had lovely simple breakfast. Definitely worth every penny. Hope can do it again. lovely!

We had the absolute best experience on this sunset tour. Firstly, our driver Aldy was so amazing and nice and made the 2.5 hour drive there from Seminyak and same back go so quickly! Our guide up Mt Batur was incredibly accommodating to our pace, and at the top made us hot tea, snacks, and we even got to cook eggs from the heat of the volcano and eat them!! 10/10 experience, would highly recommend and was amazing value for money. Was totally the highlight of our 9 day Bali trip!!

I'm a Korean who doesn't speak English well, so I had a hard time coming to Bali, but I met a guide who spoke Korean well, and I got a lot of great tips on Bali while on the tour, so it was really great ^^ I was shy about taking pictures, so I took them wrong, but he taught me how to pose, so I got a lot of pretty pictures. It was a great tour!! Thank you ^^

We had Gede Dastra as our transfer driver and he was super lovely, chatty and very accommodating. Both Gede and our jeep driver to Mount Batur were great photographers and managed to capture our best moments. We were so grateful we did the sunrise jeep up over the hike up; it was convenient and a run ride up. Gede then took us to Akasa cafe which had stunning views and much needed breakfast. Would recommend this trip!
