As I walked through the gates of the Melbourne Zoo, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and wonder. The sounds of birds chirping and animals roaring filled the air, setting the tone for an unforgettable adventure. Our first stop was the Australian Walkabout, where we came face-to-face with kangaroos, wallabies, and emus roaming freely in their naturalistic habitat. The kids were thrilled to feed the kangaroos and take photos with them, creating memories that will last a lifetime. As we made our way through the zoo, we were struck by the sheer diversity of species on display. The Orang-utan Sanctuary was a particular highlight, with its breathtaking views of these majestic creatures swinging effortlessly through the trees. We spent ages watching them, mesmerized by their intelligence and social behavior. The Reptile House was another standout, with its incredible collection of snakes, lizards, and crocodiles. The kids were fascinated by the different species and enjoyed the interactive displays that allowed them to get up close and personal. What struck me most about our visit to the Melbourne Zoo, however, was the emphasis on conservation and education. Everywhere we looked, there were signs and displays highlighting the importance of protecting and preserving wildlife, and the role that we can all play in making a difference. It was clear that the zoo is dedicated to inspiring visitors to take action and make a positive impact on the world. As we left the zoo at the end of the day, I felt inspired and motivated to do my part in protecting our planet's precious wildlife.

A really good day out, took us 4-5 hours to walk around and see everything. Bring a water bottle as there’s plenty of fountains to refill around the zoo, otherwise prices inside were as excepted

Even though the zoo is not too big, it took us almost 6 hours to complete it. It's worthwhile to follow the keeer's talks and pay a bit more for the special program and see how keepers take care of the animals with insider views.

The service staff has a very good attitude and responds to various questions enthusiastically. The animals inside feel well taken care of, and there are some explanations, so staying for a long time is not a problem.
