The guide, Nok, was great. Friendly, helpful & able to converse in English & mandarin. provides good information & recommendations during the trip. Itinerary was just nice, not too rush, allow one to enjoy the surroundings.

The one-day tour I participated in this time... the heavy rain early in the morning made me a little less interested, but the tour guide's humor made me feel quite happy during the whole trip. The driver also smiled throughout the trip and opened and closed the car door for us. The service was really good, tour guide It was introduced in three languages, and special care was given to us Chinese-speaking tourists. The Maeklong Railway is really worth it...it was very easy to take pictures, and the tour guide would also help us take pictures. The floating market was a little disappointing because we were all shopping for souvenirs. But in the end I had a bowl of boat noodles and Thai milk, which was amazing. Then the big pagoda, the tour guide kept introducing it, but I personally don’t touch religion so it was boring... but it’s good to calm down. The last two cafes... really All of them took great-looking photos... It was really worth it. I think the time was just right. I had plenty of time to take photos. I only had lunch at the floating market at my own expense... I didn't spend half a dime on anything else... Even the cafeteria. Drinks are included in the travel expenses...you may have to pay for food at your own expense...but the purpose is to take pictures and don't want to eat at all...save your stomach for Qiaode Night Market!

We did this on our last day and it was my favorite part of the trip. The Maeklong Railway Market was a nice place to buy pasalubong and stuff. Our experience in Damnoen Saduak Floating Market was so much fun. It was just our own group in the boat so we had privacy. We tried the coconut ice cream, mango sticky rice, and pork bbq—they were all good. The last stop melted my heart, which is Chang Puak Camp. We had a close encounter with elephants and got to feed them with bananas. Never thought I will experience something like that in my life. It’s like in the movies.

Reading all the reviews, I feel A LOT of people got ripped off and didn’t do their proper research before heading on this trip. If a taxi driver says ‘I know a good place’ you should immediately say no because you will get ripped off. First of all, the floating markets is about 1.5 hours away from Bangkok (maybe more depending on traffic). We booked a group tour for about $50 Australian Dollars each (roughly $30USD for reference) which included hotel pick up, air conditioned van and entry to the floating markets as well as a visit to the train markets - money well spent (no where near 4000-6000 bhat which has been mentioned in these reviews) We went in May, which is shoulder season and it was HOT. This is not a glamorous day out, you will sweat, people will try and sell you things, you politely say no and move on. I had the coconut ice cream for 60 bhat which was delicious in the heat. In saying that it was such a unique experience that no where else in the world offers. Take all into consideration before embarking on this trip, not all travel is glamorous/easy and is isn’t meant to be. I would recommend visiting just once to experience it but do a group tour!!!!!

An authentic Thai experience. The meetup place was easy to find. Driver was nice and on time. The van was clean and comfy. First activity was the Damnoen Floating Market. Boat ride is included in the package. A lot of unique items for sale, just don’t forget to haggle for a good price 😅. Second stop was the market on the sides of the floating market. We enjoyed another haggle 😅. Last stop was the drop off at Chatuchak Market. Thought it would be a tiring market experience since this was the biggest in Bangkok, but it turned out to be amazing and relaxing.

Book a private 6 person tour on Klook for 23rd December. Driver contacted us the day before the tour & gave us simple instructions on where to meetup. He arrived punctually & waited for us to come down to the hotel lobby. All instructions were clear & simple to understand! Itinerary was on point & checked all the boxes! We even had some free samples at the floating market to try! Train market was also a highlight! Seeing the trains up close was surreal. Thank you looks for making everything seamless & fun!!

The transfer was smooth. As soon as we arrived at the market, we were seated in a boat to tour around the canal. The boat ride was quite relaxing. We purchased food items from the boat vendors and food was fresh. After the ride, we were given one hour to walk/shop around the market. Unfortunately there were not too many vendors. I don’t know if it’s due to the market is still recovering from Covid. Still worth going through.

Must try coconut ice cream, boat noodles, milk tea and coffee in the floating market. The train market suggests that it is enough to walk around, and look forward to the arrival of the train to take pictures, and there are many tourists waiting. The viewing restaurant at the end of the journey is very good. I bought a beer and looked at the scenery. It was so pleasant!
