It’s winner, winner, chicken dinner when you check out these restaurants!
We all know by now that the world is swept by the Korean wave or hallyu and the Philippines isn’t an exception. Filipinos everywhere are one of the biggest supporters of the K-wave.
Whether you’re an OG fan of Korean content or just recently found out about them during the pandemic, the love for Korean culture just grows and it’s clear that K-pop culture is here to stay.
Aside from being a fan of several Korean music groups and artists, we’ve also come to love these K-dramas that aren’t only romantic but also thrilling and unpredictable. Although Korean cuisine is quite well-known internationally, admit it, seeing these Korean actors munching in front of our screens makes us want to try their local food and the way they dine, too. Hence, we now have unlimited Korean barbecue restaurants left and right.
With more restaurants opening up and incorporating Korean flavors in their menu, there are now plenty of options for Filipinos around the metro who just want to reward their long day with a comforting food that’s best paired with booze (especially soju) of course.
Korean dishes aren’t just limited to samgyeopsals and noodles, they’re also known for their crispy fried chicken (yangnyeom). The next time you crave for some flavorful comfort food, you’ll know that these are now within your reach.
Check out these Korean restaurants that serve appetizing Korean fried chicken (yangnyeom) for your next food trip.
