From tightrope cycling to sardine runs, we’ve come up with a quick list of adventures to tick off for a quick adrenaline fix in Bohol with your barkada! Check them out.
1. Chocolate Hills Adventure Park
The Chocolate Hills is most likely already on your bucket list, but if you’re looking for something a little more adventerous you can kill two birds with one stone at the Chocolate Hills Adventure Park. This theme park is located in the town of Carmen, featuring tree-top adventures and ziplines against the lush backdrop of the famous Chocolate hills. Here, thrill-seekers can choose to pedal across a tightrope on the Bike Zip or surf above the hills on the Wave Runner, just to name a few!
2. Dolphin Watching and Snorkeling at Balicasag Reef
Bohol’s underwater sanctuary doesn’t get enough praise as it should. Just off the coast of Panglao Island, you can travel by boat to Balicasag Island where you can experience incredible ocean adventures – from dolphin watching to snorkeling with thousands of sea creatures at a nearby marine sanctuary. For additional thrill, you can also rent out some scuba gear and dive deeper into the unknown with a divemaster!
3. Can-Umantad Falls
Located in the town of Candijay, you’ll find the beautiful Can-Umantad Falls. Though famed for being the tallest waterfall in Bohol, it’s fairly difficult to get to, which is why it is so secluded. Visitors will need to request for a habal-habal (pillion motorcycle) transfer to the falls, or they join in on an island day tour.
4. Sardine Run at Napaling Dive Point
Get ready for an underwater experience like no other! At Napaling, you can snorkel through the clear blue waters and witness a sardine run – a phenomenon that will place you in the middle of millions of sardines in the middle of migration. If this doesn’t leave you in awe of Bohol’s aquatic wonders – we don’t know what will!
5. Waterfall Hopping at Dimiao Twin Falls and Ingkumhan Falls
One of Bohol’s most stunning natural wonders is a hidden paradise. To get to the Dimiao Twin Falls, visitors will need to endure a short trek, which will then be rewarded by a stunning sight and cool, refreshing waters. Feel free to swim for hours and explore the area – which has its fair share of caves and natural pools. Dimiao Twin Falls is located by a number of other natural attractions, such as Ingkumhan Falls, which is only easily accessible with a guided tour.
6. Danao Adventure Park
The Danao Adventure Park is a haven for thrill-seekers. There are a number of heart-pumping activities that you can take part in including The Plunge, the Glass Cliffwalk, bouldering, and river trekking to name a few. Luckily for those keen to visit, you can book a private car transfer from Tagbilaran to arrive at the park with no hassle!

9. Hinagdanan Cave Pool
Bohol’s Hinagdanan Cave is a popular destination amongst tourists thanks to its unique cave pool. Adventure-seekers will love this experience as you’d have to do a light trek up and down the cave to arrive at a refreshing natural pool beneath naturally-formed stalactites. The pool is a steep 15-20 feet deep, so you’ll be asked to use a float for safety precautions.
