    1. Go Shopping!

    things to do in bangkok
Just like all major cities, you’ll find tons of shopping malls in Bangkok – in fact, there are nine shopping malls around the Siam and Ratchaprasong area alone! And no matter where you go, you’re guaranteed a good time, whether you’re there to shop, eat, or even just chill.
    things to do in bangkok
Not sure where to start? Siam Paragon is your go-to mall for high-end brands – it has a cinema, Kidzania, and a huge aquarium too, in case you’re ever bored eating and shopping. For branded goods at a discount, we recommend visiting Siam Premium Outlets or Central Village where you’ll find brands like Coach and Balenciaga having year-round sales.
Terminal 21 is also a good choice for food and photo ops, with its themed floors (each floor has a different theme!) and numerous chain restaurants. For something premium and scenic, we recommend visiting ICONSIAM – you’ll find local brands like NaRaYa, international brands, and famed restaurants!

    2. Indoor Go Karting Experience

    Karts lined up
Another activity for those who want to feel the thrill while staying indoors is this go-kart experience! Race your heart out on the tracks alongside your friends, family, and loved ones after you’ve all picked out your karts and speed preferences. This experience is open for all ages, so don’t worry so much if you plan to bring your kids with you. Once you’re all set and ready, let the racing competition begin!

    3. Erawan Museum

    things to do in bangkok
You’ve probably seen photos of this temple on your socials, and it’s no wonder why – it’s simply stunning! The impressive giant three-headed elephant statue on top of the pink temple is iconic as much as it is IG-worthy.
    things to do in bangkok
On top of that, as you enter the unique Erawan Museum, you’ll find colourful glass fragments bedazzling the spiralling stairs, stained glass roofs, and gorgeous ceiling murals - it's definitely worth a visit!

    4. Shopping Spree at Big C Supercenter Ratchadamri

Food shopping is a must, no matter where you go! And in Bangkok, one of the best places to get your stock of Thailand-limited Lay’s chips and Mama noodles is Big C Supercenter Ratchadamri. It holds a wide range of snacks, ranging from potato chips and seaweed snacks to instant noodles and milk tea.
It also sells fresh food, cosmetics, electronic goods, and more in case you ever need them during your trip or if you’re looking to buy them for back home – it’s a supermarket after all.

    5. Thai Cooking Class

    things to do in bangkok
Let’s face it, you can only find great authentic Thai food in Thailand. So why not learn from the real masters of Thai food cooking so you can always enjoy amazing Thai food, even when you’re back at home?
    things to do in bangkok
At Sompong Thai Cooking Class, you’ll be taken to a local market to familiarise yourself with local fresh ingredients and get the ones required for your cooking lesson. Then, you’ll be taught the proper way to prepare and cook Thai curry, dessert, and other popular main dishes before enjoying your personally cooked meal. You’ll also get a copy of the recipe to take back home so you won’t ever forget how to make it!
You can also opt to learn from Blue Elephant, one of the most famous Thai restaurants in Bangkok. Each day of the week has different dishes so remember to take a look and carefully choose your lesson date to make sure you learn the dish you want to know how to cook.

    6. Muay Thai (Boxing) Match at Rajadamnern Stadium

    Exterior of a stadium
Ready yourself for an adrenaline rush as you watch the real pros battle it out in the ring with their Thai boxing, or Muay Thai skills, trying to best their opponent. With nine matches taking place each night, you’ll be surprised by how packed each Muay Thai Match night is with local and foreign fans.
    things to do in bangkok
Don’t just stop here. If you enjoyed the match, you can also learn it for yourself in a Muay Thai Class. It’s always great to learn a martial art skill, even if you won’t ever need to use it in a real-life situation.

    7. SEA Life Bangkok Ocean World

    things to do in bangkok
Consisting of 14 different attractions, more than 400 marine species, and 30,000 sea creatures, you’ll be wowed by the wonders of marine life as you enter SEA Life Bangkok Ocean World.
    things to do in bangkok
We loved seeing the different themed areas here, from seeing coral reefs and seahorses to discovering marine rainforest animals at the Amazon-themed rainforest area to marine animals found in the ocean like sharks and stingrays.
While you’re here, visit the glass-bottom boat to see the animals up close or even swim with the sharks in the ocean tunnel. For something less adrenaline-racing, but no less fun, head to the 4D cinema to catch a marine-themed movie.

    8. Calypso Cabaret Show

    things to do in bangkok
Thailand is famous for its cabaret show starring transgender performers, and it's most famous in Pattaya – Tiffany’s Show, one of the cabaret shows in Pattaya, holds an annual beauty pageant for transgender women.
    things to do in bangkok
If you'd like to catch a cabaret show, we recommend heading to Calypso Cabaret Show located at Asiatique. It’s as good as its counterparts in Pattaya that you’ll never get bored throughout the show - with each show packed with numerous dance acts and grand costumes. In fact, you’ll feel like you’re watching a Broadway show!

You can’t have enough relaxing treatments, so we’re adding another must-experience to this list — floatation therapy! This type of therapy is another perfect way to relieve your stress and literally have your worries float away.
Your peaceful floatation therapy starts as you enter a floating pod that will keep you isolated for 60 to 90 minutes. Once you’re inside the pod, you can go into a deep meditation that will let all your body and mind tensions dissolve into relaxation.
