2. KLCC Park
KLCC Park has been a popular picnic and hangout spot all along. There's nothing like enjoying a picnic with the iconic Petronas Twin Towers as your backdrop, and views of the beautiful Lake Symphony.
We recommend heading over close to sunset so you can also catch the colourful fountain show after nightfall. KLCC Park is also extremely family-friendly, your little ones are bound to have a great time at the playground or little pool!

Desa Park City is also one of our favourites! Blessed with a picturesque lake and lots of lush greenery, it's a perfect spot for an evening picnic after a fun jog (the park offers jogging pathways with loops ranging from 1km to 2.3km!).
Dog lovers will be delighted to know that this is a dog-friendly park! Lots of people in the neighbourhood head over to walk their dogs around the park - so you'll have the chance to encounter some fur babies while you're here.
4. Perdana Botanical Garden
Formerly known as Taman Tasik Perdana or Lake Gardans, the Perdana Botanical Garden has been the green lung of KL for over a decade. Some attractions here include a 4-metre high waterfall, fountains, and a colonial-style building that has been converted into a gallery. Allocate enough time for your picnic and to explore all this beautiful 227-acre park has to offer!

5. Kepong Metropolitan Park
Also known as Taman Layang-Layang Metropolitan Kepong, the Kepong Metropolitan Park is a popular kite-flying spot loved by the locals. Spread your picnic mat and lay back with views of a sky filled with pretty kites (the 'professional' kite flyers will even amaze you with some special tricks!). If you'd like to have a go yourself, there are usually plenty of stalls here where you can get your own kite! Stay till the evening to catch a pretty sunset by the lake.

The star of this destination is definitely the 7-tier waterfall which you can hike up, swim in, and picnic next to. The waterfall cascades a height of 120m and is definitely a majestic sight to behold. Be sure to pack your swimsuit or an extra set of clothes if you're planning to take a refreshing dip!
