1. What's a Eurail Mobile Pass?
The Eurail Mobile is a single pass that lets you board multiple trains connecting 33 countries in Europe—that’s a lot! You can also ride as many times as you want within the validity period, which can last from days to even months.
2. Can I exchange my paper Pass for a mobile Pass?
You can absolutely exchange your paper Pass for a mobile Pass. To find out more, you can contact customer service.
3. Where do I find the QR code for my ticket?
You can find your QR code in your Eurail Pass. Once you click on the pass, you can click on the ticket, and you’ll find your QR code there.
4. How do I open the gates at a train station with my Mobile Pass QR code?
There should be scanning stations at the train station so you can scan your QR code and open the platform gates. This mostly applies to countries like France (TER gates only), Italy, and the Netherlands. If scanning does not open the gates, feel free to inquire with the staff.
5. QR code won’t let me scan at the gate; what do I do?
If this happens, you can try restarting the app and scanning again. If this doesn’t work, you can also try updating the app. Should you still experience problems, feel free to approach the staff. Ticket officers or one of the intercomms at the train stations can help you, as they tend to be familiar with the Eurail Pass.
6. How do I access benefits with my Mobile Pass
Your Eurail Pass can give you several benefits, such as discounts on ferries, hotels, city cards, tickets, and more. You can access these benefits show your mobile Pass in the My Pass view at the venue. Again, should you need assistance, you can inquire with the staff.
