Beso Rosado is both a restaurant and speakeasy bar that's probably one of our favourite nighttime spots in Penang. Originally known as Golden Shower, the place has replaced its original gold bathroom storefront with a graffiti-covered alleyway that now leads you into the actual restaurant - an upscale Wes Anderson-esque dining spot with elegant pink, white and gold interior.
Led by Excecutive Chef Jack Yeap, the restaurant offers a Mediterranean-influenced menu. Enjoy quirky and playful cocktails from their bar menu to complement your meals as you indulge in their best offerings of Spanish fine dining and an open kitchen concept. This list wouldn't be complete without Japanese fine dining and one of our favourite spots for this would definitely be JiangHu Edo. Amidst a modern dining hall with chic decor and a cosy ambience, dig into your favourite Japanese delicacies, specially curated and served to you through an exquisite 9-course dinner.
At RM199 per person, you'll get to enjoy dishes such as capellini topped with black caviar, fresh oysters and more, or alternatively, you can order from their set menus instead.
