2. Pokok KL
Pokok KL is a popular spot for brunch especially on the weekends. Surrounded by gorgeous greens and floor-to-ceiling glass walls, this glasshouse-inspired cafe is drenched in ample natural sunlight on sunny days - we especially love how it gives off the vibe of a quaint glasshouse nestled in the heart of a forest. The cafe offers indoor and outdoor seating options, freshly-baked cakes, quality roasted coffee, and a variety of drool-worthy dishes with flavours from the east to west.
- Address: MAHSA Avenue, Block B, Jalan Elmu, off, Jalan Universiti, 59100 Kuala Lumpur.
3. BUNCH
Different from the clean, airy vibe offered by Pokok, BUNCH gives off more of a rustic, industrial, and laid-back feel with its gabled glass roof, huge windows, and raw walls. This glasshouse cafe in PJ is filled with a bunch of differently-themed seating areas where you can chill at with a cup of coffee or a hearty meal. BUNCH adopts a unique food hall concept that isn't seen in many cafes, and you can grab a meal from one of its many famous food tenants such as The Owls Cafe, My Elephant Thai Restaurant, and Forty Licks ice cream.
- Address: Lot 2, Jalan 51a/225, Seksyen 51a, 46100 Petaling Jaya, Selangor
4. Kaiju Company
Those who've watched Pacific Rim may be familiar with the name Kaiju! Named after the giant monster, Kaiju Company is a hidden gem located in a corner of APW Bangsar. The first thing you'll notice the moment you step in will probably be the 30 metres long origami dragon lantern stretched handsomely across the ceiling. Kaiju serves up a charming selection of innovative Thai and Japanese fusion dishes such as Gyu-Tan Rice Bowl (topped with New Zealand beef tongue and an onsen egg!), Ultraman Seafood Spaghetti, Japanese curry rice, and more.
- Address: 29, Jalan Riong, Bangsar, 59100 Kuala Lumpur.
5. Ink Library Cafe at Eco Grandeur
Be sure to not be fooled by the bicycle hoisted up on the cafe front, the Ink Library Cafe is not a bicycle shop but a lovely glasshouse cafe that doubles up as a library! Located in Sungai Buloh, it's undoubtedly a bit further off from KL compared to other cafes on the list, but many loyal patrons believe the short drive is totally worth it. Ink Library Cafe looks modest on the outside but gives off a cosy vibe the moment you step in - be surrounded by rows and rows of books and catch up on some reading with a good cup of coffee!
- Address: EcoWorld Gallery@Eco Grandeur, 42300 Puncak Alam, 6332, B49, 47000 Sungai Buloh, Selangor.
6. Greyskymorning
Greyskymorning is a two-level cafe in Subang Jaya with lots of natural sunlight, a spacious layout, and a cool industrial vibe. Head upstairs after placing your order and settle down in a quiet corner by the window. One thing to note though is that Greyskymorning offers a fairly small menu so don't expect hearty mains here - the cafe however offers a selection of beverages, desserts, and pastries.
- Address: 6, Jalan SS 13/4, Subang Jaya Industrial Estate, 47500 Subang Jaya, Selangor
7. Breakfast Thieves
Breakfast Thieves is probably a familiar name for many. Located in APW Bangsar, this cafe is the sister outlet of the original, award-winning Breakfast Thieves cafe housed in the remains of an old chocolate factory in Melbourne, Australia! While the KL cafe isn't housed in an old chocolate factory, it's nestled in the heart of a 63-year-old commercial printing factory. Feast on modern Australian cuisine in a relaxing environment that will put you at ease. With urban decor, warm wooden furnishing, and a great menu, it's hard not to love this place.
- Address: Lot M, 29-5, Jalan Riong, Bangsar, 59100 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur.
8. The GLASS HOUSE
Literally called The Glass House, this cafe in PJ is a dreamy space with a minimalist white interior, huge windows, and an airy vibe. In fact, The Glass House feels more like an art gallery than a cafe! This double-storey cafe is filled with tons of Instagrammable spots for you to take that perfect photo for the 'gram - they also serve some pretty unique desserts such as gluten-free, flourless sea salt chocolate cake, honolulu cake (Japanese cheesecake with pineapple and coconut), rose lychee cake (with actual lychee bits!), and more.
- Address: Metropolitan Square, Lot C109, Jalan PJU 8/1, Damansara Perdana, 47820 Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
9. Momentz Music Restaurant
Momentz Music Restaurant is a retro restaurant with time as its theme, you'll feel like you're Alice stepping into a wonderland the moment you step through its doors. Our favourite spot in the restaurant is the beautifully designed bar area where you can grab a drink at. Get a seat at one of the high tables next to the huge windows and you'll feel like you're chilling in a different country! Pop by after nightfall for a different vibe and live band performances.

11. Plan B @ TRX
Plan B is a familiar name for many, but did you know that there's a glasshouse-edition Plan B cafe at TRX? With walls made of clear glass and offering the best views of the Exchange 106 Tower, this new cafe has a minimalist yet extremely elegant look and feel. The iron beam structures in the cafe aim to imitate a traditional Malaysian house, giving it a futuristic yet comfortingly familiar vibe. Pop by in the morning to have a cup of coffee in the sunlit space or at night for great views of the cityscape!
- Address: Kafe TRX City, Jln, Jln. Barat, Tun Razak Exchange, 55188 Kuala Lumpur, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur
12. PODGY Kurau
Podgy is a homey neighbourhood cafe that gives off a cozy and welcoming vibe with its potted green plants, wooden furnishing, and monochrome tiles. We especially love their avocado toast, steak sandwich, and macchiato! While it doesn't have much of a glasshouse vibe as compared to other cafes on this list, many patrons love taking a seat facing their huge window by the door. You can also choose to sit outdoors surrounded by lush greens and fresh air.
- Address: 5, Lorong Kurau, Lucky Garden, 59100, KL.
