The meet-up point is at the Gold Coast Italo-Australian Club opposite Surfers Fairways Resort, which is a short 15-minute drive from Surfer’ Paradise. Alternatively, there is also a free round-trip transfer included from any city accommodation when you book on Klook, so you can relax in the morning knowing that someone will take you straight to the meet-up point.
Tip: best to use the loo at the meet-up point before you make your way to the launch site as you'll be in the air for the next 30-60 minutes!
Once the pilot has decided on a launch site, you will be taken there to watch the balloon inflation, which is truly a sight to behold! As the skies slowly transition to dawn, the balloons are also inflated and then you’ll hop on the basket.
Tip: best to wear something comfy as you’ll need to climb onto the basket
