Grand Hyatt Singapore Hotel Staycation Review: The Relaxing Escape You Deserve

Nestled along the bustling Orchard Road is the lush green sanctuary, Grand Hyatt Singapore. You’ll be surrounded by plenty of dining and entertainment outlets but with facilities like award-winning spas and plenty of restaurants within the hotel, you might not want to step out. 

With wellness at the core, they’ve got plenty of green, waterfalls, free fitness lessons and everything you’ll need to unwind. 

Here’s what you can expect on your stay.

The Grand Deluxe Room is one of the biggest rooms you’ll find. There is a separate living room, bedroom and an ensuite bathroom. The bedroom has a king-sized bed and a flat-screen tv for you to watch movies in bed. 

The bathroom has a separate standing shower, toilet and bathtub and it also comes with Balmain toiletries! 

In the living room, you have an L-shaped sofa, a flat-screen TV and a working desk if you’d like to get some work done. 

If you’ve booked the packages that include breakfast, it will be served at the StraitsKitchen. The breakfast is all you can eat ala-minute, all you need to do is scan the QR code and place your order. There’s truly nothing like a huge breakfast spread to fuel you up for the day. 

Some of our favourites are the Fried Carrot Cake, Roti Prata and the Pancakes. 

mezza9 serves a whole variety of cuisines so you can enjoy the best of all worlds in 1 meal. The Black Pepper Prawns were juicy and plump, perfectly cooked and tossed in a black pepper sauce and served on a bed of veggies. All you need is a bowl of rice and you’re all set. 

P.S. They’ve got their own rooftop garden where they plant herbs and vegetables used in the dishes at the 5 restaurants in the hotel. 

Another favourite is their cheeseburger! The patty was perfectly cooked, still retaining the juices while adorning a sear on the outside. 

P.S. The burger was pretty big so if you’re a small eater, we suggest sharing! 

Get dressed in the fluffy bathrobes and get ready for a sensory experience tailored just for you at the Damai Spa. Each treatment room comes with your personal changing area and bathroom for ultimate privacy. 

You’ll start off with a sensory test where you’ll be asked to smell 4 of their signature blends. The smell that attracts you the most will help signal to your therapist that this is what your body requires. 

The pool is tucked away and surrounded by a secluded garden. With deck chairs in the waters and private cabanas around, grab a drink and some snacks and lounge out! 

Behind the pool, there is also a tennis court and a fitness studio where you can go for free fitness lessons!
