Located just 15-minutes away from Singapore lies Sentosa, an island home to some of the country’s biggest attractions that include Universal Studios Singapore, Adventure Cove Waterpark, SEA Aquarium and many more. Sentosa may be small, but sure isn’t shy with the amount of F&B outlets it offers!

Don’t worry, there are actually a handful of Halal eateries available throughout the island, and we’ve picked 10 of the best!

Southeast Asia’s very first movie theme park wouldn’t be complete without housing at least one Halal eatery! Here at Universal Studios Singapore, there are actually 5 different Halal restaurants that you can choose from. Whether it’s western favourites or local delights!

If you’re craving for Middle Eastern food, head over to Oasis Spice Cafe, located in Ancient Egypt. Not only is it air-conditioned, it features an Egyptian-themed concept that fits perfectly well with its food. The restaurant also features a huge seating area that is perfect for large groups and even those that are just looking to get away from the hot sun for a bit!

Food prices here are a little expensive (it’s a theme park, after all!) but not to worry, they serve in huge portions that are sure to fill your stomachs for the rest of the day, or at least for the terrifying Mummy Ride that’s just opposite the restaurant!

Our top favourite item on the menu would have to be their Butter Chicken Briyani Rice. Flavourful with a hint of spiciness, this is one unorthodox theme park food that you can’t find anywhere else. Also, nothing can go wrong with Butter Chicken!

For New York-style hot dogs and fries, Mel’s Drive-In is the perfect place for you. This restaurant’s decor is highly influenced by the 1973 American film – American Graffiti and is the closest restaurant to the park’s entrance.

Always packed, this colourful diner serves up American favourites that are mostly bigger than the size of your palm, and with fast service!

Picture the classic American-style burger with a Singaporean twist and you’ll get Mel’s Drive In’s unique menu item: the Shiok Burger. With spiced chicken floss, onion rings, guacamole, and turkey bacon on beef patty, this burger is a perfect mix of local and western flavours that makes it a definite must-try in this restaurant!

Besides the restaurant’s colourful interior, Mel’s Drive In also has a few classic cars displayed outside its restaurant that serves as perfect spots for your #OOTD shots!

Located in Far Far Away, Friar’s Good Food is known for their Fish & Chips and range of Vegetarian options. Offering both alfresco and indoor seating, Friar’s are also known for their generous servings of fries which, let’s be honest, is the most important thing when it comes to Fish and Chips!

Apart from its Fish & Chips, Friar’s also serve amazing Chicken & Chips, seafood baskets and even ice cream and milkshakes. Also, the prices offered here at Friar’s are relatively cheaper than the other Halal eateries in USS!

However, what’s a theme park in Singapore if it doesn’t serve local food? Head over to Marty’s Casa Del Wild Food Court for Halal Asian favourites that include the local favourite: Nasi Lemak and Satay (grilled meat skewers). Unlike Discovery Food Court, Marty’s Casa Del Wild Food Court serves food that are a little more pricey.

Also, the food served at Marty’s, including the Kid meals, are accompanied by plate-filled portions so we must say, it’s incredibly worth it! Marty’s Casa Del Wild Food Court also features a vegetarian menu as well!

Amidst large slides and snorkelling among 20,000 tropical fish, Adventure Cove Waterpark features a small range of dining options that include food trucks and stands. Because the park is very strict on their “no outside food allowed” policy, taking away food from nearby hawker centres or bringing in food from home is definitely a no. There are however 2 Halal food stalls in Adventure Cove Waterpark that will be able to solve your hunger pangs!

Hot Dogs & Drinks serves typical savoury theme park favourites such as Hot Dogs, Bangers & Mash, drinks and ice cream. With reasonable prices, these menu items are enough to fill your stomachs before you hop onto another big splash!

Additionally, in terms of meat, Hot Dogs & Drinks only use chicken and beef!

Riverside snacks is also another food cart that serves up Halal food for the ones that are a little too hungry for just hot dogs. With Biryani, Pizza and even Nachos, filling your stomachs isn’t a problem, but getting a place to sit can be a feat!

There are a few sitting areas along the Bluwater Bay and Big Bucket Treehouse and if you’re lucky, you might find some empty seats!

Like its name, Malaysian Food Street, located just a walking distance from USS, brings every Singaporean’s favourite food from across the causeway right here in Sentosa. Yes, no more heading north for Malaysian delicacies anymore!

There are a few Halal food stalls in Malaysian food street that serve a variety of cuisines that include Malay, Indian and Middle Eastern.The prices here are a little pricey as compared to the other hawker centres in Singapore. Also, there is reasonable amount of seating throughout the whole premise, which is of course good news for the big groups!

An absolute must-try would have to be the Nasi Lemak at Kampung Nasi Lemak. Widely considered as a Malaysian delicacy, this popular breakfast dish is equally famous in Singapore and is served with fried eggs, instead of hard boiled!

There are different kinds of Nasi Lemak sold at Kampung Nasi Lemak. Choose from Rendang (spicy beef dish), fried chicken or fish, and you’ll be served a hearty portion with an additional Otah (grilled fish cake consisting of ground fish meat mixed with spices)!

The Forum at Resorts World Sentosa is where you’d find retail shops and a whole bunch of F&B outlets. From candies and chocolates to high end restaurants, there’s so many things one can choose from. In terms of Halal eateries, there are a handful of them here at The Forum, including fast food!

Since opening its first outlet in Singapore in 2013, Krispy Kreme has successfully made every local’s taste buds sweeter with its iconic glazed donuts. Today, it has 7 different outlets across the island, with one finally opening its doors in Resorts World Sentosa!

Here, guests can choose from special flavours that you probably could not find at the other outlets in Singapore such as the mini doughnuts, which usually sell out really quickly so be early!

Okay but, what’s a tourist destination without fast food? At The Forum lies two Halal-certified fast food restaurants – Mcdonald’s and Texas Chicken. The prices here are about 20 cents more than the usual prices in Singapore but then again, what better way to start a day right than to have breakfast at Mcdonald’s, right?

The Mcdonald’s here also comes with a McCafe, in case you’re looking to have a caffeine or cheesecake fix before gearing yourself up for a full day of fun!

Interestingly, Resorts World Sentosa houses the 500th outlet of Texas Chicken in the entire world! During its opening day, Texas Chicken’s Global President CEO, Jim Hyatt himself came down to fry the chicken!
