Hiking Trails And Nature Walks Around KL
1. Bukit Broga, Semenyih
Broga Hill is an easy favourite for those looking for a fun hike with friends or family! Most hikers choose to start their hike as early as 4am to catch the sunrise at the top. There's nothing like seeing the sky change colours as you get closer to the peak! #KlookTip: be sure to pack your torchlight if you're starting your hike before the sun goes up.

- Hike time: 2 - 2.5 hours
- Difficulty level: Easy
2. Bukit Gasing, Petaling Jaya
Bukit Gasing is popular amongst residents in the neighbourhood, and offers multiple routes suited for hikers of different capabilities. If you're not very confident of your stamina, you can always opt for the easiest route - a 20 minutes hike towards a watch tower, where you can continue on to the suspension bridge ahead. For those who'd like to sweat a bit more, challenge yourself to the steep flight of steps called the "Killer Stretch" that will reward you with some sore legs the morning after.

3. Bukit Sri Bintang, Kepong
This hill in Kepong (located just a short drive away from Desa Park City) offers a bird's eye view of the Mont Kiara landscape from the top, and is a good practice hill for novice hikers. This little hill is a perfect urban morning hike for those hoping for a good sweat without having to drive too far out. You can catch beautiful a beautiful sunrise or sunset from the summit! #KlookTip: you may be joined by naughty monkeys on your hike! Bring along a stick to fend them off if you're afraid.

4. Chiling Waterfall
The Chiling Falls can be reached after a fun and adventurous trek along Chiling River. The trek is hardly a hike and can be considered a nice walk instead, though do note you'll have to cross the river multiple times, so make sure you dress accordingly, and put on appropriate footwear (the depth of the river can be up to your waist). Plus point of this 'hike' as compared to others on the list? You'll be in an actual jungle, surrounded by butterflies, fish, and monkeys! You can also pack a mat and food for a picnic by the falls.

5. KL Forest Eco Park
The KL Forest Eco Park (formerly known as the Bukit Nanas Forest Reserve) is nestled in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, just a stone's throw away from KL Tower. Known as the green lung of the city, it's one of the oldest forest reserves in the country, and is perfect if you're looking for a morning away from the hustle and bustle of KL.

6. Saga Hill
A lot of hikers hoping to climb Gunung Tahan or Mount Kinabalu do their training hikes at Bukit Saga! There are multiple trails at this hill, but all are well-marked and well-trodden. When you reach the top, you'll be greeted by an open space with rest huts, hammocks, a playground, as well as a changing room and an exercise corner. 7. Bukit Dinding, Wangsa Maju
This one's an easy one that's great for people of all stamina levels and ages! In fact, you'll likely see many young families hiking up Bukit Dinding with their children in hand (or in their arms!). Standing at 291m, Bukit Dinding is one of the highest hills in KL. Great thing about this hill is that it's trail is completely paved - it's essentially a concrete tarmac road. Though promising mostly a steady and straightforward climb, it's steep in some sections and will give you a good sweat!
