Located in Ipoh away from the hustle and bustle of the main town area, The Haven Resort is home to a trademark infinity pool framed by beautiful limestone cliffs, perfect for a refreshing dip in the morning or evenings when surrounded by a mysterious mist.
The beautiful pool consists of 5 levels with varying depths to cater to guests of all ages and even comes inclusive of a jacuzzi and a children's pool, making it perfect for a getaway whether with your significant other or family.

Set amidst a lush tropical rainforest in Malaysia's sunny tropical paradise, Berjaya Langkawi Resort is a blissful beachfront oasis and one of the best 5-star resorts in Langkawi - known for being secluded, private, and tranquil.
Some rooms are hugged by lush greeneries, while others are built on stilts above the playful waves and feature private jacuzzis and balconies with views of the ocean. The huge resort swimming pool is great for a refreshing dip - it features a beautiful waterfall, an artificial cave, sun chairs perfect for lounging on (sip on fresh coconuts and read the book you've always wanted to finish), as well as a section for the little ones.

Also located by the sunny shores of Langkawi, Tanjung Rhu Resort is another sweet getaway spot for couples. Flanked by swaying Casuarina trees, a white-sand beach, and untouched natural surroundings, this charming 5-star resort offers ultimate comfort and tranquility, with a tinge of romance and adventure.
The resort boasts not one or two, but three swimming pools! Our favourite of three is definitely the Sunset Pool - a 60m freshwater pool where you can laze under the tropical sun or take a long, refreshing dip with breathtaking views of the Andaman Sea. If you prefer more privacy, head to the private Sands Pool that's strictly adults-only, great for dips without the little ones splashing around.

Tiarasa Escapes is a luxury glamping spot that consists of 20 safari-style tents and 5 dreamy treehouses surrounded by mountain mist, lush rainforest, majestic trees, and fruit-laden orchards. Perfect for a romantic weekend escape, family staycation, or girls' getaway, you'll get to relax and unwind completely while being enveloped by nature.

5. Villa Samadhi, Kuala Lumpur

Its gorgeous, tranquil, lagoon-style pool lined with lush greens and cabanas perfect for lounging in is definitely one of the highlights of the resort. 6. WET® Deck at W Kuala Lumpur

The WET® Deck Pool Bar is the crown jewel of W Kuala Lumpur, and has become one of the hottest spots in town. The pool here provides unobstructed views of the Petronas Twin Towers and some impressive views of KL city especially after the sky turns dark.
After a nice dip, kick back in the lush poolside area and laze around on one of the lounge chairs here with refreshing, colourful cocktails before ending your night with a good night's sleep in one of their cosy rooms.
7. Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur

Known for its class and style, Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur has more than tastefully-decorated rooms. The hotel's outdoor infinity pool is surrounded by lush greens, poolside cabanas, and scenic views of the KL city skyline. 8. The Kuala Lumpur Journal Hotel

The chic Kuala Lumpur Journal Hotel is famous for its charming rooftop pool. Take a dip with views of Bukit Bintang and sip on fresh coconuts (or cocktails) on one of the colourful sun chairs whilst basking in the sun. The pink walls with neon lights and graffiti here make a great backdrop for photos! We recommend heading here close to sunset to watch the sky turn into a canvas of colours before the twinkling city lights come on.

At the top of our recommendations when it comes to hotels with private pools is La Villa Langkawi, a beautiful getaway location complete with relaxing views of surrounding paddy fields and mountains. The villas are situated in a quiet village area for extra privacy but are also just a convenient 5-minute drive away from the vibrant Pantai Cenang.
Trust us when we say you wouldn't want to leave your rooms. Each air-conditioned villa here incorporates a pleasant contemporary design and comes fully equipped with its own indoor swimming pool as well as a full kitchen, a living and dining area, rainfall shower and LCD TVs streaming more than 100 channels.

Lexis Hibiscus is definitely at the top of our list when it comes to hotels in Port Dickson. With spacious villas built on stilts and arranged into the shape of a hibiscus, this luxurious 5-star beach resort is a popular choice for family getaways as well as romantic vacations.
Have a soak in your very own private pool while overlooking the sea - you'll even get the chance to catch a sunset or sunrise depending on which direction your unit faces!

Private pools and hot tubs with incredible views - Ambong Pool Villas is bound to make your wildest pool dreams come true. Each villa here offers either a sunrise or sunset view, and comes complete with a 12-metre private pool as well as a lounge area with a daybed that opens out to the pool.
You can also check out Ambong Pool Villas' sister property, the equally-dreamy Ambong-Ambong Rainforest Retreat. While Ambong-Ambong Rainforest Retreat's units don't come with private pools, there's a lovely adults-only common pool framed with trees, perfect for a peaceful dip. Due to the limited number of units at Ambong-Ambong, you're likely to get the whole pool to yourself while you're here!

Similar to the beautiful chalets at Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson, Lexis Suites Penang also comes with a private pool and steam room built into every single individual suite, even the standard ones! Unwind with a refreshing dip after a long day sightseeing and feasting on char kuey teow.
The modern 5-star seafront resort consists of 222 spacious, bright and tastefully-decorated suites, all equipped with floor-to-ceiling glass doors that lead out to the private balcony. The hotel is popular both amongst couples as well as families.

Located just a 50-minute drive from KL, Danau Daun Chalets is a peaceful nature retreat that consists of a collection of 6 villas (3 of which come with private pools!). Each chalet can accommodate between 4 - 8 guests, and even come private barbecue pits fit for cooking up a BBQ feast under the twinkling stars.
Do note though that the chalets do not come with wifi or air-conditioning - though the weather is nice and chilly in the area, so the ceiling fans should suffice! If you're looking for a space for a getaway with friends or family, check out their Hillside Cottage - a three-bedroom chalet that can fit up to 8 guests and comes with a private pool that overlooks the jungle-covered hills.
17. One&Only Desaru Coast, Johor

Treat yourself and your loved ones to a lavish retreat at One&Only Desaru Coast, a collection of luxury suites and private homes. This one may be the priciest option on our list, but surrounded by a breathtaking reserve of nature, a stay at this award-winning sanctuary will feel like you've stumbled upon a secluded paradise.
Book your own private getaway here, with each of their standalone suites offering well-furnished outdoor and indoor spaces, a luxe bathroom as well as a private pool. Choose between their Rainforest Suites that are nestled between the lush jungle canopy, or their Ocean Suites that come with stunning vistas of the South China Sea.

The Kasturi Resort is one of our favourite resorts on this list! This 5-star beach resort is set against the backdrop of a rainforest and is blessed with a beach right in front of it - offering the best of both worlds for guests looking for a temporary escape.
The resort comprises of 23 units, most of which are beachfront villas with private pools. Each villa even has its own gate that leads out to the beach, making it convenient for your morning or evening strolls along the sandy shore.
