Recognised as the highest cable car ride in Malaysia, climb aboard the SkyCab and journey through the cliffs of Gunung Mat Chinchang. The SkyCab will bring you from the Base to the Middle Station, where you can alight onto viewing platforms to enjoy the sights, before continuing your journey with a short walk up to the Top Station, granting you with the spectacular views of the island. You can even spot Southern Thailand from up here!
Fun fact: Langkawi SkyCab was also awarded as the Longest Free Span Mono-Cable Car in the world by the Book Of Records!

How to get to Langkawi SkyCab Cable Car

Situated on the West coast of the island, the Langkawi SkyCab station is at the foot of the Machinchang Cambrian Geoforest Park, approximately a 40-minute drive away from Kuah town and 20 minutes away from the Langkawi International Airport. Once you've reached the area, head on in to the Oriental Village - that's where you will find the entry to the cable car station as well as the ticketing counters.
To get here, we recommend driving your own vehicle as there are plenty of free parking spaces available onsite. Alternatively, you can take a taxi, or why not rent a car hassle-free on Klook?

- Monday - Friday: 9.30AM - 6PM

1. Langkawi Sky Bridge

The one attraction you should definitely not miss out while you're here is the iconic Langkawi SkyBridge. Completed in 2004, the bridge extends out from the hillside and measures at 125 metres in length, making it the longest free span and curved bridge in the whole world.

Located at the top of the magnificent Mat Chinchang mountain, the stunning views you will get from up here are arguably and possibly the best you'll get in Langkawi. The cable bridge is the perfect spot to get 360 degree views of the sprakling Andaman Sea and the beautiful tropical rainforest.
To get here, you can either take a short, breezy walk up a jungle trail from the top cable car station or hop onto the convenient SkyGlide. The admission fee for SkyBridge is priced at RM6 for adults and RM4 for children, but you can also add-on to your SkyCab tickets on Klook!
2. SkyGlide
Take a convenient ride up to the Langkawi Sky Bridge using SkyGlide, an elevator-like glass transport that moves up and down the hillside. This mode of transport is a much faster way to reach the top and is perfect for those who would like to avoid the short jungle trail hike.
What we love about it is its design that resembles an elevator with glass panels on all sides, allowing visitors to have a clear view of the outdoors during the 2-minute ride up. SkyGlide tickets are available separately - RM16 for adults and RM11 for children, but you can also add-on to your SkyCab tickets on Klook!
3. Eagle's Nest Skywalk
The Eagle's Nest Skywalk is the newest addition to Mount Machinchang, and is a marvellous build that you can easily spot from afar. True to its name, this unique skywalk stretches out in the shape of Langkawi's icon, an eagle, with its head watching over a giant nest.
The skywalk also measures at 38-meters long, listing it as the longest skywalk in the world and the first-of-its-kind built in Southeast Asia. Don't miss out on this thrilling attraction – secure your admission to the Eagle SkyWalk on Klook!
4. Oriental Village

The Oriental Village is located at the foothill of the Machinchang Cambrian Geoforest Park and is also where you can find the Langkawi SkyCab, together with several other exciting attractions. We'd recommmend taking some time to stroll through this open-air complex to discover all that it has to offer. Spanning over 25 acres, it is home to souvenir shops, quirky stalls, restaurants, a spa and many Instagrammable spots.
5. SkyDome
Another popular attraction that's worth a visit is the outdoor SkyDome, the first of its kind in Asia. Equipped with 12 high definition (HD) projectors, the SkyDome offers a unique 10-minute showcase, immersing visitors in a 360 degree viewing experience of 3D image projections. Entrance to the SkyDome is free, included with every purchase of a SkyCab ticket.
6. SkyRex
Up for an exciting 4D experience? Pay a visit to the SkyRex, where you'll be seated in a tram-style simulator and taken on a thrilling 5-minute 4D adventure. With a combination of platform drops, blasts of air, water sprays, dramatic lighting, surround sound and a simulated 3D environment, it's possibly the most realistic experience ever. Entrance to the SkyRex is free, included with every purchase of a SkyCab ticket.
7. 3D Art Langkawi

Spanning over a space of 21,000 square feet, 3D Art Langkawi is the biggest 3D interactive art museum in Malaysia.
