1. They have their own wardrobe of outfits
The clothes these waxed figures are wearing ain’t the only set they’ll appear in. They have a selection of outfits to choose from and are changed regularly to ensure they are clean and fresh to meet visitors. Some of these outfits are donated by the celebrities themselves or are specially designed by the Madame Tussauds staff. But before they are worn, these additional outfits have to be approved by the celebs themselves!
2. Their make up is always on point
In true celebrity style, these wax figures are always at their best with their make up always on point. That’s even after visitors put their hands all over them and even kiss them (We don’t recommend you do this now due to new safety measures!). This is thanks to the team of artists who inspect them daily and do the necessary cleaning and touch up using oil paints. Even their nail polishes are kept flawless!
3. Their hair is made up of real human hair and has to be styled!
Yes, you read it right! These celebs may be made up of wax, but their hair is made from real human hair! Just probably not from the real celebs themselves though. And because they are real human hair, they have to be washed and styled regularly. Think hair curlers, straightening, and even hair products to make sure they are always looking their best!
4. Their accessories and shoes are always shiny
When was the last time you got your shoes polished or your watch and jewelry cleaned? For the celebs at Madame Tussauds Singapore, these are an everyday affair. We were told some of the shoes were donated by the celebs themselves, can you guess who?
5. They are sanitized throughout the day
With all the staying home, have you ever thought of skipping that bath for the day? Well, that’s not an option for these celebs. With stepped-up safety measures in place, they undergo frequent cleaning throughout the day to ensure that visitors like you and I are kept safe! Frequent physical touchpoints throughout the attraction are also sanitized more thoroughly.
End your Madame Tussauds visit on a high by beating Lewis Hamilton on the track
Jump into a Formula 1 replica car and clock your best timing round the track as Lewis Hamilton watches over your shoulder. This VR Experience will sure give you an adrenaline rush and is not to be missed.
#KlookTip: All drivers will be given an eye shield before you don your VR Googles, which are also sanitized before each try.
