Experience fine dining and lavish amenities that even your kids will love!
Looking for family-friendly staycations can be quite a feat, especially if your kids require a little more entertainment than simply lounging around a hotel room. Staycations are meant to include meaningful bonding moments with loved ones and family members, with both parents and children enjoying things to do and food to eat at a fine accommodation. Luckily, at Hong Kong’s Mandarin Oriental, there are more activities to try out other than dining and playing at the pool. Here's a sneak peak into all the luxurious fun you can find here:
Lavish rooms and suites to lounge in
It’s not a luxury five-star hotel without an extensive choice of rooms and suites to choose from. At the Mandarin Oriental, your view preference can help you decide on which accommodation is the one for you.
The City View Rooms and Suites face the busy urban skyscrapers of Hong Kong, with the warm glow of lights there to cozy up the ambiance. The Harbour View Rooms give an unparalleled view of the city skyline and the iconic Victoria Harbour, where guests can see ships and boats passing on the calm waters.
Lastly, the Statue Square Suites and Rooms face the popular Hong Kong landmark and come in a Verandah-style design. Every Mandarin Oriental suite is accompanied by opulent and luxurious marble bathrooms with bathtubs, a walk-in Grohe shower, and fine amenities. If you book the Harbour View Suite, your bathroom also has a large window with a view of Victoria Harbour.
One-of-a-kind dining experiences and set meals
The Mandarin Oriental is also renowned for its numerous restaurants and fine dining experiences, just as much as their hotel services. Guests can pick from classic Cantonese cuisine (Man Wah), Japanese izakaya (The Aubrey), modern seasonal (The Krug Room), international (Café Causette), British (The Chinnery), and more! Desserts may also be purchased at The Mandarin Cakeshop, with its array of gourmet delicacies that “look as good as they taste”!
Klook offers a number of packages that are inclusive of course meals and set dinners for the foodies out there. The Sunset Dinner Staycation includes a room of your choosing plus a five course meal at the illustrious Man Wah, while The Klook Exclusive Club package includes accommodation with the Mandarin Club benefits, which include breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening cocktails at none other than the Mandarin Club itself.
LIMITED TIME OFFER: Enjoy a Beef Wellington Dinner or a Seafood Dinner Buffet along with your hotel room booking when you book our a STAY DEAL package starting 9 September, 2021.
Amenities and recreational activities
A full day of fun isn’t complete without exploring a hotel’s facilities and features. Guests of all ages would definitely enjoy the indoor swimming pool, which has a video wall showcasing a view of the Victoria Harbour plus mood lighting, underwater sound systems, a waterfall, and aesthetically pleasing, stylish interior design.
The Fitness Centre, on the other hand, is fully equipped with various Technogym cardio machines and a TRX Suspension Trainer. It also has an inBody composition analyzer that helps track someone’s fitness performance. If you’re in need of something more personal, the in-house trainers and instructors will be more than happy to give you advice on lifestyle and working out. This centre offers particular programmes that can be taken independently or during private sessions.
Staycationers who want to rejuvenate their senses and relax their muscles can head to The Mandarin Spa, where guests can undergo massage and beauty treatments or take combat yoga classes. The spa has special suites for those who value privacy and extra space.

The 3-course dinner at Cafe Causette was enjoyable. My fam love the clam chowder, roasted duck salad, Iberico pork loin. Buffet breakfast at Clipper Lounge had pretty great variety of food. The complimentary cheesecake for birthday celebration was delicious. It’s convenient that we had 2 connecting rooms for 4 people. The rooms were clean and comfy. The valet box for housekeeping items delivery was cool. It’s also very thoughtful that a micro fiber cleaning cloth was provided without asking when the housekeeping staff saw our laptop on the desk. Nice toothbrush brush and Diptyque toiletries too. Thank you MO for the lovely experience. - Wait Tung

Truly the best staycation we have had. We booked the club rooms and the service was impeccable. The room was gorgeous and each request was met promptly. There was a good variety of food and drinks during Evening Cocktails. We asked to have the Afternoon tea set after check out as we had had a big lunch and they made arrangements accordingly. Breakfast was a huge spread with plenty vegetarian options as well. A huge shoutout to their wonderful staff who took care of us during our stay. We'll def be going back. - Suniya
