Fans of minions, unite! A brand-new Minions-themed exhibition has made way to Singapore after touring other major cities like Taipei, Shanghai, Seoul, and more. Ever wondered what goes through the minds of Despicable Me’s adorable minions? Well, now you can find out at the new A Minion’s Perspective Experience exhibition!

The pop-up exhibition will be running at Resorts World Sentosa from now until 2 January 2023 and features 8 themed zones, tons of photo spots and an exclusive merchandise store! Keep reading for what to expect at probably one of the cutest exhibitions ever. 🍌

What to expect at A Minion's Perspective Experience in Singapore

1. Explore 8 fun and interactive themed zones

A Minion’s Perspective experience consists of 8 fun, thematic zones, that will take you through everything Despicable Me, from behind the scenes of the movies and animation works, to interactive games and more!

Zone 1: Preshow theater

Bello and welcome to the start of your A Minion’s Perspective journey! Start with a quick video and some classic clips from the Despicable Me and Minions films to get you (even more) excited about the exhibition.

Zone 2: Film showcase

Here you will find short movie clips, sketches, film stills, character designs and other behind-the-scenes insights to the makings of the Despicable Me films. Can you spot your favourite scene or favourite movie quote?

Zone 3 & 4: Hallway & Gru’s Lab

Enter the interactive hallway to Gru’s Lab, and test out some of Gru’s devices and inventions - here you will can learn more about Gru’s various experiments, from freeze gun to fart gun, and you can even take a fart gun test!

Zone 5: The Girl’s Room

Welcome to the Girl’s adorable bedroom! You’ve reached one of the most instagrammable-spots of the exhibition, so get your cameras ready 📸

There’s also the colourful digital colouring wall, where you can colour in some cute template drawings, and see your masterpiece up on display after you are done!

Zone 6: Villains

Get to know the villains of the Despicable Me films and take some photos with them, before challenging yourself at the interactive El Macho Memory Game!

Zone 7 & Zone 8: Minions Zones

These last two Minions zones features a mix of fun interactive games and minions in the different eras. You definitely cannot miss a photo at this banana-themed area where you can also play the interactive Banana Mania game.

P/S: Don’t miss the ‘Which Minion are You’ quiz booth - answer some questions and find out which mischievous minion you are!

2. Take lots of cute photos

Needless to say, there are so many photo spots in the exhibition - the entire place is IG-worthy, from Agnes’ giant fluffy unicorn to the Minion’s favourite banana zone. Look out for the feet markings on the floor, which actually helps to mark out the best vantage point for a photo!

Also, don’t miss out on the photo booth at the retail section of the exhibition, where you can snap some pics to take home as memorable souvenirs.

Humongous life sized Fluffy (Zone 5)
Minions at the banana zone (Zone 7)
With King Bob at the Minion Age zone (Zone 8)
