Who's a fan of convenience stores?
Malaysians have often complained about why convenience stores in Malaysia aren't as well-stocked and chic as the ones in countries like Japan, South Korea, and Thailand, but with the opening of convenience store chains such as FamilyMart, CU, and Don Don Donki in recent years, convenience stores in Malaysia have had no choice but to step up their game with new, unique openings (which we're definitely not complaining about✨).
Say hello to the largest 7-Eleven Cafe, now open in Puchong!
Just this week, 7-Eleven unveiled the opening of a brand new, two-storey 7-Eleven Café in Bandar Puteri Puchong! Ever since the opening of 7Cafés across Klang Valley (did you know that there are now more than 10 across the region? We had no idea), Malaysians can now shop for a wide variety of items, including exclusive hot food and drinks at these chic 7-Eleven concept stores.
The new 7Café in Puchong is the largest so far in Malaysia, and is far from your boring old 7-Eleven. Besides normal convenience store items, the outlet also sports a mini bookstore by BookXcess as well as a gift and lifestyle shopping section that has everything from Japanese beauty products to figurines, stationery, and more.
The store also carved out space for a spacious cafe featuring artisanal products including fresh sourdough bread and croissants from @bengbengsourdough, coffee, as well as matcha drinks and dessert from Niko Neko Matcha! 😯🍵 We spotted items such as Japanese black tea sea salt cookies, black sesame matcha mochi cake, and genmaicha bun on their menu ✨
While we've yet to check out the 7Café ourselves, we saw a lot of positive comments from netizens on posts regarding the opening, praising 7-Eleven for upping their game. Are you thinking of checking it out this weekend? Tag us on Instagram @klookmy so we can have a glimpse of how it looks! 😋
