Located along the row of shop lots just across Pavilion Bukit Jalil, this minimalist cafe is where you can find a wholesome selection of bagels and other breakfast options to go with your cup of coffee.
Mismatched chairs, neutral tones and playful shelf details make up most of the cafe, but the centrepiece here would definitely be the striking wall decor made of blue paper mache and dried flowers. If you’re in a hurry, you can easily grab your meal to go, but we do recommend dining in this cosy little nook!

KL folks no longer need to travel all the way to PJ to grab their well-loved pastries. These freshly-baked treats take up centre stage in the store, lined up along a marble countertop for you to take a good look before you choose - we highly recommend their croissants (a must-try!) and tarts, but do try out their delicious main dishes too if your tummy allows!

Satisfy your local food cravings at Tingkap Cafe, a vintage eatery in the heart of PJ Old Town. The menu at Mountbatten is mainly Western fare cooked with apparent Asian influences, featuring modern twists on familiar favourites, such as otak-otak bruschetta. They also offer a great variety of good coffee - we recommend their Biscoff latte! - and decadent cakes, perfect for a short coffee stop in the city.

Dine within an elegantly decorated space that pulls inspiration from Moroccan, Ancient Greek and Bohemian styles - think of ornate wall carvings, gazebo-like seating areas, and desert plants. More than just another aesthetic cafe, BoiBoi is where you can find staple local food, but what caught our attention are the East Malaysian dishes on their menu! Owned and run by Sabahans, you can expect authentic dishes from the Bornean states such as Sabahan tuaran mee, Sarawak laksa, kolok mee and bakso.
This spacious bungalow-turned-cafe emits an inviting ambiance and the space lets in plenty of natural light. Its beautiful interior may remind us of the airy architectural style we often see in Bali, but the food served here is indeed very Malaysian. Aside from the East Malaysian options, you can expect other kopitiam favourites such as nasi lemak, dim sum, mee rojak, ABC, and more!
