    Puffing Billy is a heritage steam locomotive that began its operations in 1900 as a mode of transport for local communities. Aside from passengers, it also transported timber, potatoes, livestock, and plants. It is preserved to this day as a reminder of simpler times.

    Yes, Puffing Billy Railway is still up and running!
    However, please note that it is still operating with limited capacity. You have to pre-book your ticket online to make sure you get a spot, including free tickets for ages four and below. Just remember that the train doesn’t run during Christmas Day. 
    You can book four train journeys:
    • Belgrave to Lakeside (Return)
    • Belgrave to Gembrook (Return)
    • Belgrave to Menzies Creek (Return)
    • Lakeside to Gembrook (Return)

    Friendly reminder that this is only allowed on the Belgrave Station to Lakeside route. Also, make sure to supervise children aged four to thirteen.
