New Starbucks Reserve Opens Doors In Bangkok
It's been a long year of missing authentic tom yum and the hustle and bustle of Bangkok since international travel was forced to a standstill due to the global pandemic. As if designed to tempt us even more, Starbucks has just recently opened doors to its largest store in Thailand, a 1,260 sqm Starbucks Reserve overlooking the scenic Chao Phraya River in the heart of Bangkok.
Located on the 7th floor of ICONSIAM, the beautiful new outlet sports a handful of impressive architectural details - from huge floor-to-ceiling that bring in ample natural sunlight to a swirling staircase and a stunning, classy interior. Other jaw-dropping store details include a vivid mural at the entrance, a ceiling adorned by hundreds of floating lantern-inspired art pieces, and a mixologist bar (coming soon!) that will soon be serving up a range of inventive coffee-based cocktails.
The double-storey Starbucks Reserve provides panoramic views of Bangkok's iconic Chao Phraya River and is perfect for people-watching with a cup of coffee after a long day of sightseeing. There are even community rooms for more intimate gatherings as well as specially-curated merchandise. The store also boasts an extensive menu of food and beverages including blends that can't be found elsewhere. They even offer artisanal pastries such as flaky croissants and French apple tarts that are apparently imported all the way from France and freshly baked in-store!
While we can't hop on a plane to get there, I guess these beautiful photos will do for now. We're coming for you once the pandemic is over, Bangkok! Till then, stay safe and hang in there everyone.
