What is The World of Tim Burton?
Back in 2009, the premiere of Burton's art exhibition held at New York's Museum of Modern Art (MoMa) received an astounding crowd of over 800,000 visitors, gathering to see the collection of his childhood sketches, photos, props and film clips. This success sparked the inception of what is now known as The World of Tim Burton exhibition.
Featuring hundreds of art displays and sculptural installations, this international touring exhibition allows both old and new fans of his work to go on an immersive journey through the director's life, mind and art. From the 21st of March up until the 30th of July 2023, it is making its first ever stop in Southeast Asia, at Pavilion Bukit Jalil in Malaysia.
