Explore its 5 themed zones - American Adventure, Zoo Topia, Global Fair, Magic Land, European Adventure - that have so much to offer, from seasonal parades and a mini zoo, to T-Express, one of the world’s steepest and fastest wooden roller coasters!

2. Lotte World
A literal playground for people of all ages, Lotte World in Seoul is a massive recreation complex that is home to both an indoor and outdoor theme park, as well as various other attractions including a lake and aquarium! With more than 40 rides for you to explore, there is surely something for everyone here, from thrilling rides such as the Gyro Swing, to family-friendly attractions like the Balloon Ride.

3. Lotte World Adventure Busan

Themed Magic Forest, this Lotte World is also Asia's first European-style theme park with Medieval Age-inspired builds and lush, manicured gardens. Explore its 6 themed zones, such as the adrenaline-filled Underland or the kid-friendly Joyful Meadows, then stay back till nightfall to catch the enchanting Magic Forest Parade (a must see, if you ask us!).

4. Seoul Land
Contrary to its name, Seoul Land isn't actually located in the capital city, but in the nearby Gwacheon city instead and is actually the first amusement park in South Korea! 5. Caribbean Bay
If you were an OG K-pop fan, you'd probably recognise Caribbean Bay from the commercial shoot SNSD did with 2PM in 2010. Part of the Everland Resort, Carribean Bay is often visited along with Everland, and is a crowd favourite for a fun water park in South Korea. It's truly a wonderland of water slides, swimming pools and hot spas - with both indoor and outdoor water attractions available all-year round, you know you're up for a fun time here no matter the season.

6. Gyeongju World
Head to the historical city of Gyeongju and pay a visit to Gyeongju World, the biggest theme park in the southern Korean region. A stark contrast to the serene coastal city it's situated in, the theme park is actually best known for its gripping thrill rides, from steel roller coaster that brings you on a 90-degree dive to a head-spinning 360-degree rotating ride. In the winter, you can bring your families and friends to the Snow Sled Garden for ice sledging as well!

7. LEGOLAND Korea
Introducing the newest kid on the block, LEGOLAND Korea just recently opened in May 2022 and fun fact: this is actually the largest Legoland in Asia and the first ever in the world that is built on an island! Surrounded by a lake in the Gangwon province, you can find over 40 rides and attractions across 7 themed zones here, but the best part is definitely all of the structures and decor made out of Lego bricks - be sure to take as many pictures while you're here!

8. Daegu E-World
Built around the 83-storey Woobang Tower is Daegu E-World, an underrated amusement park that we believe is one of the prettiest on this list! Many like to visit the theme park in spring, when pink cherry blossoms are in full bloom surrounding the park. Even if you don't plan to visit during the day, we highly recommend getting the Night Pass to enjoy E-World after dark - colourful lights and rides across all 4 themed zones here will be lit up, making it such a dazzling nighttime experience while in South Korea.

9. Vivaldi Park

Reminiscent of the charming pier-side fun fairs we'd always see in the movies, Wolmi Theme Park is a vibrant carnival-themed amusement park situated in Incheon. Though it may not be as huge as the other parks on this list, we'd say the experience here is still one of its kind - from various fun attractions splashed in vivid colours (such as its iconic Ferris wheel), to a spectacular coastal view, it has become a sentimental favourite of ours, especially when it comes to the countless IG-worthy spots you can find here.
